Love the Z/2! I've been wearing these since high school, so going on somewhere around 25 years now… the extra toe loop I personally feel gives me a bit more grip and stability when tromping around outdoors, and hence I frequently where these when hiking and even occasionally backpacking. They're super comfortable whether on the trail, in the water, or after a long day in my boots. The black is also classy enough for casual wear! Can't beat ‘em, and I don't intend to ever stop buying them.

I begrudgingly bought a new pair of Chacos....I had repaired/rebuilt my original pair several times and just hated to part with them....My new pair already feel as comfy as my originals! I'm a "toe loop" guy as I believe the loop provides better security and stability, particularly when wading in water with a soft bottom. I do find it interesting how several folks have noticed my Chacos and commented that they too have a pair  and love 'em. 

Overall, I couldn't be more pleased with these sandals. Thanks for making such a fine product.

After 15+ Years!

Love my Chacos! I ordered these to replace my 7-year old pair of Z/2 classics, which replaced several pairs before that. They've been my favorite pair of summer footwear for years. 14ers, meandering hikes, kayaking, you name it - these are the best, supportive, and comfortable sandals out there.

Chacos do it all

I am a father of 4, all under 10 years old. These shoes help me do all of the activities with my kids, wear them hiking, these are the most versatile product i own. 

I'm thinking about buying a matching pair for my whole family they are so great.

Best Purchase I've ever made

I love the redesign of this sandal.  The sole is longer lasting and has a good gripping pattern.  I have always like the Big toe loop because it secures the sandal to my foot comfortably.  The adjustment is easy and effective.  They look great and feel very comfortable to walk for miles/kilometers.

Comfort and durable

Love my chacos. Unfortunately they stopped making the wider foot in size 13. The fit is not completely like it used to be before. I came back to chavosvas im in the water a lot and my go to birkenstocks is not made for Water. Before when you had the wider foot bed i even stopped buying Birkenstocks  but then was forced to go back to them. One size up just does not do it.

Wide footbed needed

The previous pair of Chaco Z Cloud sandals that I owned had thicker and softer straps. It appears that the company is trying to shave some cost at the expense of quality. The  harder, thinner straps dig into my skin more than the previous model. Alison, I don't understand why the end of strap goes down to the pavement when you pull the strap through the buckle. I had to have the straps shortened on my previous pair of sandals.

Not as good as the previous pair.

I love the look, i love the style, I love the fit...EXCEPT, the toe loop is at a different angle than my other ones so it doesn't lie flat on my toe like the old version so it's almost like the slit was cut at a different (wrong) angle. That was disappointing to me but maybe that's why they were on sale.

Have worn/recommended Chacos for 30+ years. Hate your new styles and materials..

Bring back classic Vibram sole Chacos or lose $$$$

I hate them.  I did not return them within the set time period, so I am stuck with them I guess.  But they seem cheap, are uncomfortable, and are a poor fit.

Wish I had returned soon enough
