VERY DRYING.  Not like the original Covergirl clean, it causes dry flaky irritating skin if I leave it on for hours.  My mom's face broke out flaking dryness.  The Perfect Beige color has a weird little grayish cast to the color.  Bring BACK the original covergirl foundation in the glass bottle.

I have used the foundation for over 30 years. I absolutely hate the new packaging and formula. The liquid separates and no way to shake it.  It is hard to get out of the tube. It is messy and there is so much waste.  I have tried  and tried to like it since the change.  But decided I need to find a new foundation. I hope with all the bad reviews from your loyal customers that the company will
 change back to the old packaging.

I'm disgusted that the Cover Girl brand decided to discontinue their most well known foundation, Clean foundation, which I have been using for 35 years. The consistency of the liquid was not too “wet” and not too “dry”. It (was) the perfect weight for a very broad range of skin types and age groups. The bottle itself was much superior to any plastic crap tube. This is the line in the sand for me. I have watched the corporate greed in packaging and marketing over the years become worse and worse for the consumer. Goodbye forever.

And for what?

When discovering that the Company stopped producing liquid foundation in bottles I purchased two of the new tubed foundation. My first review was negative because I was disappointed with this new product, for several reasons. Now, thinking maybe I just had a bad tube I decided to use the second,  well it didn't get any better. It has a terrible smell, the application is bad, getting it out of the plastic tube is difficult, the sharp corners of the tub, it splashes when squeezing. Worst of all if it splashes on your clothes or robe it permanently stains.
I have always used your liquid make-up, it has now been ruined by your new formula and packaging.

Horrible

Hate. It's 1000x worse than the liquid foundation. I've been using it since 6th grade, now 44. There's a reason you can't use the same product on young/old skin -- they stop making it. Now, I'm left trying to find anything even close to what you USED to make. It was clean, fresh, thin and breathable while layerable. The plastic tube sucks compared to the bottle. This is how you lose brand loyalty to E.L.F. -- stopped making an affordable perfect product and now we lament when you were good. It feels like you want only kids who don't know better. Cheap, entry level make-up that's outta touch and makes you look old. Good job. 30+yrs dedicated happy customer, instant bitterness and sarcasm after this crap

This was definitely not the same product as what was in the bottle, I've used Classic Beige 130 in the bottle for decades. I tried the plastic tube, it seemed like it had less product than the bottle, maybe because it's difficult to get it out of the tube once you've used a bit of it, and it becomes far messier to deal with than a bottle. It provided a different coverage, seemed thicker, and the color was a bit off from the bottle I still had.  I would not purchase this again.  Not sure why companies feel like they have to change things.  So disappointed.  And frustrating to search for another product that will work for me.

Disappointing

I really tried to like the new packaging.  No joy!  Opened another new tube this morning.  Contents had totally separated.  In plastic tube there is no way to re-blend like shaking the old glass bottles.  Even if you try squeezing with the cap on to blend, the oil just seeps out around the cap.  So now I've lost ounces plus the formula for the rest of tube is out of wack without the oil - besides having an early morning mess on my counter.  This is after painfully trying to get the last of the foundation out of the previous tube.  Who thought hard pointy corners in the palm of the hand squeezing the plastic tube was the way to go?  So after using Covergirl since I was 18 - turning 75 in a few weeks - I'm seriously looking for another brand of foundation.

I've been using cover girl clean in the bottle for YEARS. Tried to love the tube stuff as much but it is awful. It's super cakey and looks awful. Now I can't even find the tube stuff anywhere. Ugh.

Bought this after my usual buff beige foundation in the glass bottle was discontinued. What an epic failure! This foundation is too thick, the colour doesn't match at all anymore. It's incredibly cakey and doesn't work with the pressed powders anymore. After using Covergirl for over 20 years I'm going to be forced to change brands.

Hard pass

I use to use the 120 foundation in GLASS bottle and it work out very well. know I bought that piece of trash and it dry on one week after use . Bring back the glass bottle. Do not say we are saving the planet because we are not. The glass bottle it is better not plastic that is just not worth buying it anymore. Know I have to change to another product I am still hunting for it !

This foundation provides an even coverage without appearing heavy or matted.  Looks natural with only a few retouches during day.  Also, good color selection.
