I purchased something similar in my old apartment. Used it for the Freezer and it did a great job, not ruing the carpet.  I recently purchased for my new apartment for the garbage cans (carpet underneath).  It saves my carpet on any item I missed when throwing out the carpet.  I ordered another freezer and I will be using it for the freezer and protecting my carpet.  I like it's easy to cut and use.

I like I can pull it out and wash it in my tub and put it nice n clean in it's place. I have it on the entrance where shoes are taken off and feels good to keep floors clean. 

I love it does not have the spikes bc if it did it wld scratch my floors and that would not be good.

I recommend

This is a nice heavy plastic that is not thick so our French door opens easily.  We bought this to be a protector of our new wood flooring in our entry way.  It looks really nice and is easy to mop clean.  The only problem would be that the ends are having a hard time laying flat.  This is not a big issue since I lay a rubber mat on one side to put shoes and the other is under a sitting chair.  Well pleased and the price was great.

I didnt like the fact that there are no grippers or spikes on the underside of the runner to keep it in place

No gripping on bottom

slips and slides all over and keeps rolling up on the ends

Useless

creased and cannot get to lay flat.  it is a definite trip hazard.  Constantly moves.   would not recommend.

they sent me one with zero grip gave it away won't buy again don't buy
