fairly easy to put together, includes both descriptions/letter references as well as pictures. Frame is solid, bars are to be expected and that you donfeel them depending on how you sit or lay on the futon, while it is a 6 inch mattress, it sits directly on the bars which brings it back to feeling them while sitting or laying down depending on position. That is the only reason I rated 4nout of 5 starts. Price is fair, fairly light weight, appears to be durable. It is easy to lay down and fold back jnto couch position which is a plus.

Fits perfect where I needed it. Putting it together some of the screws wouldn't go in the holes. I had to try each one to see what would work. The last 3 screws I had to use a hole tapper to get the hole bigger to get the screws in. The mattress had a 3inch rip in it. Other than that it is pretty comfy for the price. I got grey color and it looks for black than grey.

Nice little futon

I am satisfied with the purchase. Overall the sofa bed is worth the price. The only complaint would be all 20 small screws, specifically hardware component #7, cannot go all the way in. It s kind of silly but all of them can only be driven in half way through. Although it dooesn't affect its function, the screw heads may damage the wall if one put the coach by a wall. It took me a few hours to put the parts together. I would suggest potential buyers to be patient and plan ahead with room for assembling.

Satisfied with the purchase

Item arrived in a huge box so be ready for it. Assembly was okay. Follow directions closely. Be aware that futon frame has to be slid away from the wall to deploy the bed. The photos are incorrect. Frame base leg is 3-4" from wall as a sofa but needs to be 12-13" away from the wall as a bed. But will probably work for my needs as long as doesn't scrape the wall. Good value for the money.

Stand away from wall.

Doesn't come very well packaged, the mattress is not rolled;  it's folded weirdly and it's very thin... It is not easy to assembe, takes 2 people to accomplish and that's coming from mechanically minded individuals. Bolts strip easy... Altogether it is wobbly and not sturdy... Get your money's worth but not worth it.... Works best for a kid not teenager or adult.

Poor quality, it's cheap to buy though

The mattress is NOT 6” more like 2”.  The mattress unlike others I have use is very lightweight I was able to carry it myself.  We have been using it for 6 nights now and the futon is no longer a couch.  The back no longer sits upright when in the couch sitting position.   When we sit on it we are reclined back.  While sitting and leaning back on it it gives very easy not firm   So either I put it together wrong or it is how it is supposed to be.  This will be good product for the occasional use.   I need a futon for ten days straight once a year.  I would not recommend for that kind of situation.

Alright for the price

Terrible Futon.  It is really small, a pain in the neck to put together and the futon mattress is an absolute lopsided piece of garbage.  I definately FO NOT RECOMMEND this product.  Pay more and get something better.  This is literslly the worst futon I have ever seen or purchased.

Terrible Futon!!  Mattress is atrocious.

Only the mattress arrive, frame did NOT. They told ME I have to ship the mattress back and make a new order. Unfortunately the item is sold out. I have read the reviews here and people and on Amazon, that it also happened to them. It is such a hassle as I was planning to use the futon to sleep on at my new apartment. There is a chance that this could happen to you too so weight all your options

Not satisfied at all. Frame never arrive.

Bought, was cheaply made but I thought it would get the job done. Nope, sinks in the middle, terrible springs aren't even strong and are stretched out already. The pad is not good and you can feel the bars. Not even guest room worthy and that's saying something. Honestly worth it but something a little stronger. Including a picture of how it sinks in without anyone even laying on it.

Not worth it

If I could give this couch zero stars I would. It was annoying to put together and the screws didn't all fit well. Then once it was together it was apparent that this couch wasn't lasting any length of time. It's poor quality and not sturdy at all. The cushion was even all weird and warped. We returned it.
