I have been using this product for at least 25 years, and have never been disappointed. Very Quick and easy to use and I have always always had consistent results, amazing fruit flavour with much less sugar than most jam recipes.

No Cook Freezer Jam

This was the easiest jam I've ever made and it set immediately, even while still in the bowl. I love that it is a lower sugar jam. I'm planning to make a few more batches this summer.

I have been making strawberry freezer jam for over 30 + years Garden fare is the best by far . Less sugar then anything I have seen . It actually lets you taste the strawberry flavour. I will ever use anything else to make jam.

Best ever!!!

I have made the strawberry freezer jam with the Clubhouse gelling powder for at least 30 years. It is the "Oma jam" the whole family looks forward to whenever they visit.
I am heartbroken this year, as it is impossible to find the pouches anywhere. I have looked in many stores in the Loblaw chain, The Independent Grocer, Great Cane Freezer jam gelling powderadian Superstore, Value mart, Zehrs, but no Gelling powder anywhere .
I have tried Bernardin Freezer jam powder, but it gives an artificial taste to the jam. 
Where can I get the Clubhouse freezer jam gelling powder.

Best freezer jam

Very easy product to work with, the fastest jam I've ever made. Not as good as Bernardin. Play around with this one till you get the mouth feel you like. I like having slices of strawberry in my 'jam'.

It takes some getting used to

I like Garden Fare because it uses less sugar. Do not expect the same set as Certo that requires 5C of sugar! This jam will always be slightly runny, even with cut up strawberries. This time I am going to slightly crush the berries. Bernardin freezer jam pectin tastes better but is no longer sold at Canadian Tire. Certo Light is no longer made and also did not set properly so this is the only option and better than no sugar freezer jam pectin containing aspartame. Well.ca does sell Pomona's.

Thickening agent, carrageenan is used which has been identified as a cancer causing agent.

Undesirable Ingredient

Ugh. I miss Bernardin (discontinued) so much :-( Had to get this instead. Followed instructions (easy) but his product DID NOT SET. Runny & useless. Then tried cooking it, as per a suggestion here. Did not thicken. Added a cornstarch slurry (found suggestion on YouTube). Once refrigerated, the jam now is jelled. However it has a really weird  aftertaste (not sure if that's from the Club House powder, or the cornstarch, and you can detect "something" off in the mouthfeel. I wanted to make freezer jam like I used to... and instead wasted my labour and money (raspberries aren't cheap) to make some weird raspberry gravy. Still usable to hide in smoothies or yoghurt, I suppose. But would not eat it as jam. Half of it was supposed to be a gift, which I will not give.

Raspberry jam didn't set, had to add cornstarch!
