Use this as a base for Thai red curry, mixed with coconut milk. I add shrimp, red and green bell peppers and serve it over jasmine rice or rice noodles. I always keep this in the fridge for a quick dinner. Watch out, it's spicy. I usually add ginger, garlic as well. Garnish your curry with cilantro leaves. Delicious!

Great Thai tom yum paste

Excellent tom yum paste for homemade hot and sour soup, or just for adding to cup noodles or ramen, good value.

Its Cock Brand goodness

I add shrimp and sliced mushrooms in water with some of this paste, with lime to my taste... just perfect to make tom yum. Please bring this back to Walmart!

Great tom yum

The one other review on here says that it was great, so I bought it. I totally disagree. It was disgusting. It did not taste like hot and sour soup to me at all. It was just hot, not sour. And the most disgusting part was that it was so oily. I mean, when I put it in the water (and, yes, I followed the directions, and put in the exact amount your supposed to put it), it filled the water with greasy, oily blobs. I tried to make soup of it, but everything in the soup was coated in greasy, oily, slick, spicy blobs of hot stuff, with no sour taste at all. I couldn't eat it. Sorry, but soup should not taste greasy and slimy in you month because it's so oily. Even the spoon was coated in oil. Was all excited to be able to make hot and sour soup at home, but this was disgusting, and I tossed it out. The other guy liked it, though, so, I guess that you might. But I think it is disgusting.
