I've tried many models of bug jackets and this is the one I favor. 
Yes it is flimsy and delicate and yes I've torn more than one of these BUT it's so light that you barely feel it and wind and moisture can pass through. Also because of it's delicate and precise weaving it has the best visibility by FAR compared to like the other 6-8 brands i've tried and that is the BIGGEST pro for this net... because you can still breath and see while being protected. Can't find this jacket anywhere right now, wish I had bought more.

The mesh was less comfortable than another brand we have, especially on our faces.  But, it kept bugs away. Used it over our clothes and a hat. Packs up small.

Not so comfy but effective

I bought this for my daughter for a June Girl Guide's camp in Nova Scotia. Right out of the box, it had a hole in one of its shoulder seams. She needed it due to the fact that there were swarms of mosquitoes, so she decided to keep it and sew it shut. By the last day of her 2.5 day trip, the jacket developed a few tears in both forearms. It's probably good enough for sitting around the campfire, but the mesh is far too fragile for a weekend of light hiking and tenting in the woods.

What I,don't like.... the super long elastic chords you need to tighten to,keep,the bugs out.

Just bought one to finish splitting with the black flies.  Hot to work with.

I've worn this jacket only a few times and it has several tears in it. It catches on EVERYTHING. It is very thin mesh that makes it easy to see out of but isn't any use if there are holes in it. Bugs know holes. Recommend you do not buy this.

Arrived torn. Stiches missing. Not sawn properly. I cannot it use it. I cannot return it because of COVID. I cannot go to the post office.
