Can be quick and easy, but may require patience due to many parts.

Lack of clear assembly and installation guidance is provided.

Easy to setup, I placed it under a defective gutter, it collected over 50 gallons of water in two days of heavy rain, I filled a bunch of 5 gallon containers for my garden and it is full again.

How to avoid using tap water for your garden

walmart.com

Very cool and easy to use rain barrel. I did not put it under the spout simply because I use rain water to water my garden only. It was my main purpose because rain water can help my plants grow so fast. When install, do not forget the rings for the inside and outside. They help prevent water leaks. Also, the filters must be placed inside the barrel. The overflow is near the top of the barrel as well. I've been using this barrel since spring and it still work like a champ. No leaks nor anything wrong with it. I can connect a water hose to and spray my plants with no issue.

Great item

It is easy to set up and works like it should. It is a great way to get a rain barrel without spending a lot of money.

The pocket for the "stays" is very tight fitting and if you do not have something thin to help hold them open, it would be impossible to get them into the pocket. The quick attach hose coupling leaks badly and the spigots are very hard to turn and are made out of plastic. I am not very impressed with this item!!

Not impressed

assembly instructions were iffy so I removed a star. if I hadn't assembled barrels before it would've been a real headache. otherwise once you get it together good quality, looks good.

My major issue was putting in the bars. They do not stay connected and are extremely hard to install. Other than that it's fine.

Well, if u r cheap, stubborn, have time and a cocktail buy this one. Basically you are building the barrel first, with instructions even Tolstoy could not understand. But I had time put a ball game on, w cocktail. We will see the results. Got more money? Buy the higher grade model.

This item was a pain to put together. I viewed the video on assembly of the rain barrel %26 it looked easy. It wasn't. The support poles didn't want to fit together easily %26 then it was near impossible to get them in their pockets without having to find something very small to act as a shoe horn to get the poles started. There were extra pieces and a built in plastic piece that I had no clue of it's function. After assembly of the 1st barrel, it doesn't seem very sturdy %26 it must be placed on a flat surface. I have a stone patio %26 it's not flat enough. I'm returning them %26 I'll just get a solid rain barrel %26 netting cover. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Not worth the cost or your time

when I got this i was very excited about having it. Fast forward to 4 months later it is leaking around the bottom nozzle. I don't know what I can do to fix it.

Great idea but the only way to use the water is let it flow on ground
Hook the hose to it …raise the hose to use the water….Gravity will not not let it flow…water will not come out….
I can drain it into a watering can but seems redundant

Great idea but …
