Can be leak-proof, but may leak with improper use or over time.

Effective on surfaces, but crevices can be challenging.

I really like this water bottle because it's easy to use and doesn't leak. It's also a perfect size to take with you if you're in college and going to class or work. It's also super easy to clean lightweight, durable, and the pink color is really cute. It's easy to put back together after cleaning which makes it a great everyday bottle.

Cute,leak-proof, and easy to clean

safe to use

This bottle is my ally, is accompanies me everywhere, it is made of good material and super durable, good size, I use it daily and it is comfortable in my wallet

My daughter has been using this Contigo Ashland 2.0 water bottle for school everyday and it been really convenient. The AUTOSPOUT lid is easy for kids to open and close by themselves, it helps to prevent spills in her backpack. It's also lightweight, easy to carry.

Easy to use , leak- resistant , simple to clean after daily use.

I have tried so many water bottles and this brand always comes out on top. It holds a great amount of water and with the extra lock, it stops water leaking all over your bag! It is light weight and fits at the side of my bag. Handy for my gym visits!

A water bottle that doesn't leak!

I just bought this water bottle, because I misplaced my regular water bottle. The only thing I like about it is that it fits in my cup holder.
If I leave the “straw” open it leaks; water comes up the straw and pours out.
If I close the cap, when I open it, it sprays water all over.
I think I'll take it back for a refund and never buy Contigo again.

Worst water bottle ever!

gocontigo.com

The second time I used it the mouth piece on the inside broke in half now it leaks all over.
Contigo Ashland 24oz if it breaks that easy I highly do not recommend

A waste of money

coleman.com

Catastrophic failure after a few months. This bottle has a built in Silicone tube that flexes when the bottle is opened and closed. It's just below the mouth piece, inside the lid. There's no way to replace it when it tears it cracks. When it cracks, you'll suck in air and very little if your drink while the bottle makes an annoying wheezing sound.

terrible 2.0 version of a great bottle.

Contigo Consumer Care

Water spits out of the bottle after the lid has been shut. Initially I thought that it was because it was in my bag and pressure was building up from it shaking around. So I stopped putting it in my bag and just carried it in my hand to prevent as much movement within the bottle and that did not improve the problem either. The final straw was after taking a sip, setting the bottle down in a cup holder and picking it up and it spitting out a massive amount of water to the point that I had to change shirts. At that point, I went and purchased a new one because my daughters contigo water bottles are so awesome that I thought maybe it was just a fluke. Well this bottle does the same thing. It is extremely frustrating to open my water bottle while in a professional setting and water shoot out like a geyser. So I have started calling this bottle Old Faithful, and while that sounds like a compliment, it's really not.

Old Faithful, but for the wrong reasons

Contigo bottles are my to go favorite always since years back! Recently went to the beach and found that I forgot my kids contigo water bottle, obviously I choose an Ashland design because is looks big enough and same system as the ones I forgot, super easy for them and mess free. I'm so disappointed the mess free part is so Not there . Every single time the bottle lean to a side the stream of water comes out even when it's close. Writing this from the car with a whole carpet full of water because the bottle en up at the floor and I wasn't able to pick it up. It's that normal?

Spilled water everywhere even closed
