This arrived three days earlier than expected, that was a nice surprise.  My husband and I (both of us with physical limitations currently) put it together within an hour and 15 minutes.  We had everything we needed and the directions were easy to follow.  It looks good and fits the space we have for it well.  We are very pleased with it.

Pleasantly surprised!!!

We just bought this tv stand to go in our family room. It supports a 39" tv. across a corner space. We had to have a smaller - but tall size - for this space and it fits perfectly.
The wood is dark and goes with lamps in the room. There is storage space which is
helpful to store our collection of DVD's.
We have to look at it every day as our family room "connects" with our kitchen so wanted something nicer. My husband set it up and said it was not too difficult.
Looks like a more expensive piece. Hope it will be there for many years.

Classy tv stand for a reasonable price

This took a little time to put together - good to study the instructions beforehand. All pieces marked with letters/numbers so easy to follow the order in the manual. I feel it is manufactured very well and I was impressed with the hardware mechanics. No issues with holes not matching up and all pieces were included, as well as a couple of extra screws for good measure. Spent the most time aligning the front doors to perfection. We love it - would definitely buy another product from this company,

Well crafted and looks beautiful!

This is an elegant little media console.  Fits well in our space and looks more expensive than it is.  Overall, easy to build.  However, the cable guide that is installed in the back panel is difficult to reassemble and the lower cable opening becomes too small.  The height is perfect for our needs and we love the glass doors.  It could have use a little more depth and it would have been perfect.

Small, Elegant, and Functional

Nice TV stand.  I like the fact that it is higher than most that I looked at online.  I wanted one that was high because my bed sits high.  I put it together myself, took over an hour (I am a 50 yr old woman).  Would purchase again.

Easy enough to assemble. Wish the hardware was a little better quality, though. Some of the screws and toggle bolts stripped when using a power screwdriver. But once it was put together, it looks like it's a nicer quality piece of furniture for the price. Perfect size for our bedroom and high enough to be viewed when lying in bed.

Surprisingly nice for the price

When putting this item together, I could not help but think to myself how wobbly this piece of furniture was. It finally was strengthened by the backing of the cabinet that was placed last. It still seems cheap, but it will hold our tv cable box and DVD player. I was slightly disappointed with the quality of this cabinet.

Not Sturdy

Website reads black but when it arrived it was Expresso marked on the box. I decided to personally call the manufacture myself to clarify the colors. Convenience Concepts in Illinois confirmed they do not make black the color is Expresso. I think Walmart should change it on their website so others will not be disappointed. I needed and wanted black to match my furniture this Big Sur Highboy TV Stand is Expresso which is a dark brown with some hints of deep red tones. The TV Stand is nice I love the height most TV Stands are short but not this one. From my experience it was extremely hard to find a tall TV Stand. It may not match my furniture but I need something this tall so I will keep it. Disappointed that it was not black it would have been the perfect match. If it's not directly next to my black furniture and on the other side of the room it doesn't look horrible it will do for now.

Expresso the new Black?

It's been many years since I've given a review anywhere this low.  The unit is constructed well and was easy to put together.  The problem is the bottom and middle shelves and the inside of the back are an entirely different pattern and shade than the rest of the unit.  I used them anyway...can't notice if the doors are closed.

Disappointed in lack of quality control.

Audio equipment does not fit in the shelves because only the top shelf is 36 inches. The bottom shelves are only 14 inches deep.  This was not explained in the advertisement.  The stand is also very wobbly.
