I purchased this table in solid black and its totally true to its color and has no variations in color. You can tell when building it that its not exactly the best heavy material per say -- but come on, for $77 its a complete steal. Style it correctly and you have a functional yet beautiful piece. Extremely simple to build if you follow directions and have a screw driver (ensures no wobble). I built it myself in 30 minutes or less and I'm a very petite woman.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a very simple low profile console table that could double as a desk when necessary. This is being set up under a wall mounted TV in a family room. I don't want to see the wall through the back, so we are adding a black panel almost to the floor. It has a longer apron on one side then on the other.. If you want to have the possibility of sitting at it like a desk or a little table, you want the short panel facing out. 

This is a low maintenance versatile little piece that would be great for any small space, starter home, first apartment, dorm. No complaints.

I am retired and live in a small apartment with limited counter space in the kitchen.  I use my toaster oven a lot and it took up too much room on the counter top.  I purchased a microwave cart, but it was too tall for the cord to reach the wall plug.  When I saw this console table, read the specs on size, and it came in white (my kitchen cabinets are white) I thought I would give it a try.  It was very simple to put together, 5 pieces and came with all of the hardware and easy to read and understand instructions.  It took about 20 minutes.  It is perfect for my purpose, looks great and also gives me room for my kitchen lamp.  It is narrow enough for the oven to fit with room to spare but not intrusive into the room.  I have had many compliments from friends and family.

I assembled it being 37 weeks pregnant, fast and easy but the wood quality is so cheap it broke(screws came undone from the other side ) when I was placing it where it supposed to go.  Not worth not even $80
