My daughter loves her new chucks, she been wanting a pair and I’m so glad they have an option for wide feet. I’ll definitely be buying a few more pairs.

Before purchasing, I read a lot of reviews and a lot of people recommended following the recommendation of getting a size and a half smaller for true fit and they are RIGHT. I wear a 10.5 and bought the wide 10. And I'm glad I listened. They fit perfectly! Always wanted a pair of Chuck Taylor's and I'm very pleased. I bought the classic black/white and the all white. Can't wait to rock the whites!

My Dad tire patch my Chuck Taylor's in the early 80s. With the bicycle patches so my socks wouldn't trail behind me bc that is how hard I was on them, 
So Now I find myself in the same situation with my now 13 yo Daughter!

Mother of my daughter bought a pair of All-Stars at the mall they were so very narrow an no store sold All-Star's none that i could find in my area,

So took the one's back to the mall and purchased Website Wides for her She is so Happy with them an wears them comfortably along with her  Lil' Clique of girlfriends .
As a Girl Dad this makes me very happy as well.
Gonna pick up some winter boots for her i hear they are tru to size.

The Older Girl Dad .

Disappointed in the manufacturing. The slits on the tops of the tongues are not even; the right shoe slit is lower than the left shoe slit, so the laces look uneven. I’m also disappointed in the fit. I got the same size I have worn for decades and these were very tight.

SUPER Disappointed

I have been buying and wearing converse for years but the moment I went to lace these up for the first time and the tab on the tongue ripped off. I returned them which was very unfortunate. Just seemed like the quality has gone down hill.

Not made well…

My old pair of chucks is from 2018-2020. My new pair was purchased within the last month, in 2025. I am beyond disappointed with the decline in quality. The material is no longer canvas. It’s foam. They feel cheap to the touch. Foamy, and plasticky. The laces are unusable, dollar store quality plastic. The canvas is not canvas, it is foam. I wore my new pair one time. Once. The converse lettering inside almost completely rubbed off. Looking at my old pair, 5+ years of wear later, the letters are all intact. A bit faded, but intact. The new pair is so cheaply made that the letters are mostly gone after one wear. Wild. I’ve always fit an 8. This new pair is much more narrow, and longer than my old pair. They look like clown shoes. Also the treads on the bottom are no longer. There is a PRINT on the bottom to give the illusion of the iconic fuzzy treads. I bought a second pair on sale, and the right toe cap is completely crooked. Same foam material situation. I’m truly shocked.

Cheap Quality. Not Worth The Cost.

I got the size using the size guide based on foot length of 9” but the shoes are almost twice her foot size!

Been wearing Chucks for many years  The canvas on the last three pairs I bought all ripped or separated between the toe and the instep very quickly, and for two of the three the sole separated also.  Not sure what changed, but after three in a row, it seems like poorly made, not bad luck.

What happened?
