Received the pillow and it was wrapped in plastic and looked like a cylinder. I asked myself  is this my pillow? According to the order it was supposed to be delivered on the 11th and here it was the 6th. Tore it open and yes it is the pillow! It does not have instructions but from handling similar items it had to breathe and fully get its shape. Once that bad boy took shape I placed it on the bed and laid down on it. It is very comfortable and supportive.  Now can sit up in bed without straining neck. Can not wait to try the other positions and it is not hard to figure out. Sent my son a pic and his spoiled butt told me he needs one. It is close to the holidays  so why not. He works hard and would appreciate this pillow. Now know why it was packed that way because the pillow is easier to transport but once it breathes and takes shape you will love and appreciate this pillow.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was coming home from cervical fusion surgery and needed someone to help me adjust from sleeping in the recliner (upright) to my bed.  This item is incredible! I was able to adjust it over a 3 week period until I could lay flat again.   The memory foam is so comfortable and wide enough to support shoulders.

I bought this for my wife who is in a nursing home.  She continually moves around and her head ends up against the side rail of then bed.  Her first day using it yesterday she spent her first day in a long time laying straight in the bed . I placed it upright against the rail and it worked perfectly. It is a somewhat large for this purpose but works fine.  I was especially impressed by then quality of the cover.  Good fabric and well constructed.

I love this wedge pillow. Its great quality for the price. Its really soft and comfortable. I use it at night to elevate my legs.

This came compressed in heavy duty plastic bag inside a box that was approx 7 x 8 x 24 inches.  Had to use scissors to cut then pull apart plastic. Foam expanded right before our eyes. However, fabric cover VERY VERY wrinkled from being compressed.  Daughter is pleased with it-using in her dorm room.  Thank goodness do not have to return, because who knows how I could get it back in its original packaging/box?

Hopefully will hold up to dorm room abuse.

This item is at a greater incline than shown. Tried for a couple weeks and I prefer one piece wedges.

Not For Me

Well, I really wanted to like this pillow, and maybe a lot of people do. But for me, this pillow  is angled in such a way that it is really not comfortable for sleep. I tried to adjust it to every position noted on the example picture and it just doesn't work; the angles are too steep to make the alignment of the spine very uncomfortable. There is one way to position the pillow vertically against the back for reading/watching TV and that's fine, but I didn't buy this for seating but for sleeping! Additionally, this memory foam is as hard as a rock. The material does not really mold to the body as I had hoped. To get any kind of comfort, it seems like you would need a softer pillow on top of this. On top of that, this pillow takes up a lot of bed space. Finally, after a day, the pillow's chemically smell appears. It is not too overwhelming, but it does linger for several days, unfortunately. I had really high hopes for this pillow so I'm very disappointed. I will return this soon but  I wonder how I'll get this back into the narrow box it came in.

Product smells like mould and no cleaning can remove the smell. Also one zipper on the cover broke immediately.
