Got this for my son, he loves it and it was a great price

The sound through the built-in speakers is okay, but very shallow.  The stylus is mediocre, along with the drive mechanism.  I've found  that solid groove  tracking is thwarted because of this.  I have an older model (different brand) that is much better in both sound and unfettered playback.

It would be good for kids or someone not all that concerned with decent fidelity or solid playback…
