I am a disabled senior citizen that has been moving a lot.  All my personal items are in storage for at least (6) more months.   I have really had a hard row to hoe this past (3) yrs.  I have  NOT  had a regular bed all this time.  
Have had really good quality air beds, but I can't afford  to keep repairing and replacing them. So, I decided to try this futon mattress.  To my amazement I am truly happy with this decision.
It s firm, but forgiving... conforms and supports this ole' body.  Finally some real sleep that allows me to rest and heal properly.  Try it, you will like it!   In the near future I will most likely purchase a couple more for quests.  Just need to get it all moved to my new home.

8" full sized futon mattress is a God send!

I have had this futon mattress for a couple days now and I am very pleased with it. I find it very comfortable and easy to find a sleeping position that is also very comfortable. It gives enough space a single adult and has a pretty good cushion to it.
Please note, I am using this mattress ON THE FLOOR and not on a futon frame.

I like this product.

It's an ok product.  We've been using this futon for over 15 years and last mattress we had changed was about 10 years ago.  It has filled with recycled cotton material that's why it lasted this long.  The current mattress that we have recently ordered (at first it got shipped to a wrong apart where they were unable to retrieve the item and sent a new one, which took an extra 2 weeks of waiting time.  I recommend to reconfirm the order multiple times before hanging up the phone)  has a low quality and perhaps a low performance as we are experiencing.  In the description it says "Constructed with a cotton and polyester blended fiber" where I only saw a polyester filling when unzipped which does not provide a firm cushioning and can feel  the futon frame while sitting.  :(

8" Full-Size Futon Mattress, Navy

The way it was advertised to when I got it ,it was different. Too soft. just not what I wanted. The mattress looked firmer on the site really too plush. The description stated that it should expand to eight inches within 24 hours. I left the mattress opened and airing for 72 hours and it has only expanded to six inches which is definitely not what was advertised. I bought the item because i wanted the thickness of eight inches and the firmness for my wood futon.

Disappointed did not live up to my expectations..

Bought this for the bottom bunk in my son's room. I know futon mattresses are not expected to be great or fantastic, but we have a 2 year old sleeping on this mattress for about a week now and it has already got a major lump in his spot. I thought this would at least last him a couple of years at his age, but it will not. It is extremely hard, I laid on it and I thought the floor was more comfortable. It doesn't go back into shape after he has been off it awhile either. I will try a memory foam on top of it maybe or just buy a real mattress next time. I already tried extra blankets but it didn't help at all.

A better idea, buy a real mattress.

This mattress is much thinner than I expected and offers no support. You can feel every support bar underneath. Being 8" thick, I expected it to be more supportive than the 6" top bunk mattress I purchased at the same time, but the 6" mattress is far better quality. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Poor quality

I slept three days on it before it's flat and I'll stop the wires in the futon bed it is Nerf ball quality. if anybody says it was good they enjoyed sleeping on it they never laid on it this is the truth I weigh 180 lb I really needed the halfway decent bed and I went without stuff so I could pay the $100 I'm ashamed for them

This is not what is advertised at all.  The packaging label says 8" but it unfolded and expanded to barely 6" .  It has no support or thickness to it, and you can feel the frame below you, either while sitting or sleeping.  We are returning this item. Very disappointed

Not what advertised at all

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Delivered today to chicago area, glad that was sunny day on October, Otherwise it would be a disaster for mattress, because it came in a plastic bag, NOT in a box, i do mot know it supposed to come like that or a box just disappeared on a way here. Thrown away outside of 3 level apartment, outside building, glad that was no rain today. What if a buyer couldn't carry it to 3rd floor?! If delivery means just “delivery NEAR to your apartment “ then you guys need to clarify it. Because i am expecting my order to my house or door!!! 1 star for delivery and 2 star for mattress because its not an 8 inch as described
