It was fairly simple to put together even with slightly  incomplete directions. One person can still do it. It fits perfectly in the small space where I have it. The color blends perfectly with the room as it is now.

This product looks really good in the kids room. I was set on having a twin over a full to accommodate 3 children (2 girls and 1 boy). Originally, I wanted a wood bunk but after researching and searching for a product in the price range I wanted to spend, I came up short. I then began to look outside of wood frames, when I ran across this one at Walmart.com. After reading the reviews, I decided to give it a try. It has exceeded my expectations and the kids LOVE it. I put it together by myself and it took me 3-hr and 30 minutes. However, I had to take certain sections apart 3 times because I had a couple of things going in the wrong directions. Pay very close attention to the pictures and the way that the frames and boards are facing. It will save you time in the end. Those mistakes cost me an additional 45 minutes. My recommendation is to look at the instructions one time through. Then beginning to put the bed together, but always read the next set of directions before completing your current directions. Overall, I am extremely please with the purchase.

Very good product and for a great price

This is a good value and small floor space option. We got it because the weight rating is highest for value priced beds (wood included). Bed is squeaky for heavier sleepers (100 lbs.) turning over (metal support rods rub), but a bunk board would quiet that. Sort and check all parts before assembling. We had 2 significant pieces not be cut right so we had to wait to assemble top bunk until getting a replacement. I was not surprised by this after reading the other reviews, but disappointed we had to wait - and that the website didn't accept my part number so I had to call. And when I called the first time I got a "we are experiencing technical difficulties" message and had to call back later. (this is why I gave it only 2 marks for meets expectations). When I finally got a hold of a person though, it was easy to get new parts shipped out for a free replacement. Replacement arrived quickly. Overall, the bed is sturdy, ladder ended up close to wall which makes it tight for 5 foot tall 100 lb. kid, but we love the clean look and the space it (doesn't) take up. Worth the wait!

Great but takes time

Bought for my 7 year old son and he loves it! I was worried about it being sturdy and it is GREAT! My hubby is not too handy and had it put together in an hour and a half. Only complaint I have is that I do not know why they put the sticker labels on it that are impossible to get off. What a pain!!

Great Bed, Sturdy and Easy to Put Together

We purchased this based on price and design of the full over twin beds. It was time-consuming to put together, but not too difficult. We had damaged parts, so we're still waiting to complete the bed, but the company was very quick to respond and agree to ship parts no questions asked.

The main frame is barely adequate. The lower bunk main beam does not seem strong enough to support n adult making up the upper bunk. The cross members that support the mattress are not strong enough to support an adult directly without a mattress in place. The upper bunk frame does not slide into or over the lower bunk frame, so the bed needs to be disassembled completely to get it out of the bedroom. The plastic inserts that keep the cross members in their slots cannot be removed without breaking them, so if the bed needs to be disassembled and re-assembled, new inserts will be needed. In a few years these inserts probably will not be available.

Not very strong

The materials are not strong at all the metal easily bends and is not supportive for children.The bottom bunk broke in less than 6 months now I have to find a replacement. Not safe for children as they can get hurt if it collapses on them. I wish I had bought from a different company.

Safety hazard

Both of the guard rails on the upper bunk were severely bent. I called the company to order new rails and after 2 weeks, we are still waiting. In the meantime, we can not use the upper bunk. I should not have to wait this long for parts even if they are coming from overseas! The company's customer service dept. was very rude.

Defective

I am very displeased with this bed my children was really enjoying it up until it broke. The bottom bunk metal pieces started to bend until they didnt fit in the holes anymore. I feel like i just wasted my money. A 12 year old was sleeping on it so it wasnt as if she was jumping on the frame or anything. It's very frustrating.

It broke within 90 days

I ordered the bed and the shipping was great, however, the hardware was missing and several calls to the company that makes this bed have yielded no results. I have to wait for the hardware to come from China and they can give me no realistic date as to when this will arrive.
