This futon arrives in a single box which is very heavy. i unboxed and assembled it myself, but I would strongly recommend getting a friend to help. i purchased this futon because it is longer than most (71 inches) and has a 600-pound capacity due to a third set of legs in the middle. The fabric and cushions are good quality, and for the price it was an exceptional value.

The futon is a bit heavy in the box. Assembly was easy enough for me (42 yr old female) to get it assembled in about 5-10 minutes. once assembled I did need help to pick it up and place it where I wanted it. its really easy to go from couch to bed position. As for the mattress part, its firm but not where it hurts or is uncomfortable to lay on. The material and quality feel great and i feel overall this was a great deal for the price. I'm very happy with my purchase.

It's a great futon. Quality is good and it looks classy too. I put together in about half hour and I'm just 110 pounds. I have a small apartment and it fit well in that.  Delivery was quick as well and had no trouble. The length is good and I'm about 5'3" and can comfortably sleep. I like firm mattresses so this is great.

Great Futon!

Comfortable and convenient. It's for my older son. He'll be moving out soon, and this thing will be super easy to move. There's a pouch underneath for the tools, bolts, and legs to be stored. It folds up nicely. I'll probably use a blanket instead of the thin moving bag it comes with, but that's no big deal.

Very nice for the price

For the price, it cannot be beat! The box was bit heavy but this is was so easy to put together. The couch is firm and the color is not as white as the picture. Its more vanilla or off white. We put this down in the basement for the boys. Each side can fold down or you can make it all the way. It is not too low to ground either. You cannot go wrong for the price.  It will be easy to wipe clean too. It does not look cheap and seems very sturdy.

Nice Futon/Couch

We bought this for our guest room, so I can't vouch for how comfortable it is, but it looks awesome. We had friends stay the night and they said it was ok. Sitting on it, it is firm but feel good. Easy to assemble, I had it put together in 30 minutes.

Does the Job Just Right

This is a low-to-the-ground couch, like the original futons were in the late 1980's :) It's easy to assemble once you can get it out of the shipping box! It is comfortable short term, not a lot of cushioning. Sleeping on it was uncomfortable because of the hinges in the direct middle. You'll have to commit to one side for sleeping. Decent price.  Looks great. Overall good product.

Low Rider !

I bought a model of this futon 2 years ago and loved it. Unfortunately I had to let it go when I moved across the country. Because I fell in love with it before I decided to purchase it again for my new apartment. I bought it online because I was confident in my purchase...or so I thought...

Seems like in the last 2 years they decided to change it up a bit and not for the better. It overall is the same futon EXCEPT that the padding is much harder and stiffer than the one I bought 2 years ago. The difference is noticeable. Previously it was soft and lovely to sit on...now it just feels like you are sitting on the floor and against a hard wall. If I were you I would go take a look at it in person and see if you like it yourself. As for me, my mind has changed.

Not the same...

It is pretty well built and seems like a good buy for the money. My biggest problem is that it is very hard. We also purchased some foam to help and is still very firm. Maybe it will break in over time. Just for a guest but would like for that guest to be comfortable in my home.

It Is What It Is

was delivered three days late box had holes in it.  When I set it up noticed a hole in it.  So now I have to find something to repair it with.  I like the look not sure how sleeping on it will be feels a little hard but all in all I do like the look and feel of it.

Arrived damaged with two identical tears in the fabric that aligned perfectly with the wooden frame on both sides of the futon. The packaging was enough strain to tear the fabric it would only be a short time of use to tear it. Poor design in this item.
