This was not the bed I wanted but it was an affordable canopy style with good reviews so I decided to purchase it.  I tried to buy this bed at several places but Walmart was the only one that would ship it Fedex ground straight to my door.  The box was in bad condition but the bed itself was very well packaged within and didn't have a scratch on it.  The instructions were easy to follow so assembly was a breeze.   I'm a 57 year old woman and I put this bed together in about three hours with no help and I took my sweet time.  This is, hands down, the best $271.10 I have ever spent!  This bed is beautiful with clean lines and edges, is sturdy and has a good, solid feel to it.  I placed it on an area rug so there's no shifting or movement.  This bed can be dressed up beautifully with long scarf valances which can be arranged different ways and according to my mood.  I'm using a canopy mosquito net for the summer and am so happy to have a bed that allows me such a wide range of options for decorating it.  I feel like a queen in this bed and expect to sleep in it for many years to come.  No one believes what I paid for it and all my friends want one.  So glad I "settled" for this bed!

I found this bed on many websites yet found this one to be the best price. I  so surprised as to how well made this is. It's very strong and easy to put together. It takes two people but very easy. Shipping took longer than expected but it was free so well worth it. If you like the way this looks then you will really love this bed

Do you recommend

I brought this bed frame a year ago (Nov. 2016)- the frame is a great height and has been pretty sturdy so far. No shaking, creaking, moving parts or screws coming undone. Unlike many other reviewers my frame did come in black (unless I'm slight colorblind). The assembly wasn't hard as a two person team. The only issue I have is that I brought circular curtains with large circular hooks to go around the frame (the hooks weren't big enough to go around the square and I have yet to find any that were). I've tried many tactics throughout the year so I wouldn't have to but different curtains, today I'm going to try ribbon. If all fails I'll but different ones. I would definitely recommend this bed, it's a great quality, especially for the price- my only thing is you may want to wait to buy curtains. P.S. I also chose to have both box spring and mattress.

Great product- But I got the wrong curtains.

I actually like this design now that I purchased it. Once together appears to be sturdy. Not sure about weight because I just have my Eazy Rest bed dropped in the middle. But frame itself is holding up alone around my bed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product was exactly what I thought it would be. I expected from the reviews to need at least two people to put it together, but my boyfriend did it by himself in just over an hour with no problems. The only thing I've noticed is it is pretty noisy if you move around a lot while you sleep.

Seems study and was very easy to put together.  Word of caution don't tighten it too much the screws get stripped very easy.

Very sturdy considering the price. I put this bed up by myself. May need a mans strength to tighten bolts. Screws are a bit tough to go in even with power tools. Overall a pretty decent buy.
