I purchased this bed because I am moving to a room and I wanted to maximize its apace but I still wanted to accommodate guests comfortably every now and then. This bed was spot on! While I was assembling its parts it seemed to be not so strong and sturdy but it turns out that when every single part of the bed it in its respective place it becomes very sturdy. It took time to assembling it due to its numerous parts but it was very easy to do due to the stickers they put with letters on each part. So when you see in the assembling manual "connect A to B with the screw 8" you know exactly where and what they are. Highly recommend it!

It's very sturdy, high is perfect, not that much space, easy open and close, a little time to assemble you have to be patient and read carefully and follow correctly the instructions it took me about 4 hours off and on to finished, but I did and it was worth it, I love it and my son loves it too, thank you, also you have enough space under for storage

The Bunk Bed was delivered to our house in Excellent condition! It took 2 of us to assemble to get it done quick! As long as you follow the instructions, it's so SIMPLE! Bed is really sturdy! I've brought other bunk beds that start moving as soon as you get on it, or climb on it. I would deff recommend this to EVERYONE who's looking into buying one! LOVE IT!

LOVE IT!!!

This futon bunk is perfect in size and strenght! I put this together myself so it took me several days to complete everything.  I followed the steps to the letter and when every screw and bolt was tightened,  it is a very sturdy bunk.  I had no missing parts.  It is very important to keep all screws loose until everything has been assembled.  I had to loosen screws several times to get all the pieces on. It would be easier to have a helper when assembling but one person can do it with patience and time. Top bunk will hold 200 lbs and bottom bed will hold 600 lbs.  I believe this bunk will hold up to all I need for years to come!  Excellent price for the quality of this bunk!

Perfect choice!

Nice bed. We couldn't get one of the bolts to go in. I think the hole didn't have any threads - it just tore the bolt up. Fortunately it wasn't in a key area of the bed - it will still hold together! Once we put the sheets & everything on the futon, it was pretty hard to fold it into a couch - takes 2 people. (Our 2 kids can do it with a little effort!) We use it primarily for a bed so this is not a problem for us, but if you will be folding & unfolding it a lot you might want to think twice about it. Also, make sure it's not too close to the wall when you fold it - it scraped the paint off ours!! This is a taller bunk than a normal twin/twin so if you have low ceilings this is not for you. Nice for the bottom bunk person though! Or 9yr old sleeps on top & can sit up just fine, but an adult might be grazing their head on the ceiling.

Depends on your main purpose

Definitely takes two people to assemble the instructions are pretty vague but once you get the understanding , pretty easy the sturdiness of it is questionable very shaky other than that is a pretty good futon bunk bed for the price seems like if taking care of it will last a long time it is a lot different from the one I had when I was a child very similar I just do not remember my bunkbed being so shaky. My son loves it. Its put together very good. I would recommend this bad. Just be prepared for it to be very shaky.

Honest review

I bought this in January of 2019, It is now July 2020 and this bed is already falling apart.  The weld are breaking and the futon will not work properly anymore.  the slats under the futon are also breaking.  All that holds the slats in are some cheap plastic covers that break very easily and fall out if the bed is moved wrong.  I suggest investing in a wooden one.  The whole thing is squeaky from the very first night when my son would climb to the top and even just turning over in his sleep.

Only lasted a year

Very dissatisfied, I ordered this to have more bed space due to company during the holidays, Also to have a couch in the play room for the kids to game during the day. We have still not been able to use it due to missing parts. I called Wal-Mart to find out I had to deal with the manufacturer, when I called them they informed me that the order would not be processed until after the thanksgiving break so needless to say it's not put together just taking up much needed space. I could not only not be reimbursed for the bed nor for the expedited shipping I paid for to have this in time for the holidays.

Very dissatisfied

We purchased this bed and when it came it was missing directions, so my husband was able to print them from online thankfully. He started to put the bed together and he couldn't even make it past the first step because we were missing parts! After going through what we had we ended up missing many parts. We emailed the company and ordered the missing parts, which took another 4 days. When they finally arrived we STILL didnt get all the parts, but my husband thought there might be another bag on the way in the mail, so he decided to start what he could on the bed. Well once again he couldn't even complete step one because the parts they sent us were WRONG!!!!! So I don't recommend this bed to anyone or any items from this company. If you happen to get a complete bed or have gotten one in the past consider yourself lucky!

First they sent me the wrong bed. Had to return it and when they sent the right model it came missing MANY parts!!! Ihave had to order the replacement parts which are still not here and it has been over two weeks! My son has no bed to sleep in! The customer service person I spoke with on the phone was very rude! I will never purchase a bed or anything from this horrible company. :(
