I read very mixed reviews on this bed so I was nervous about buying it. I bought it for my room and love the look of it. I was shopping for a vintage farmy look and that's what I got. So far so good. Very sturdy and quiet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very pleased with the Wallace Metal Bed. It arrived in perfect condition and a beautiful black color. We live 3 hours away from family so I needed another bed for our middle bedroom for when family visits. I already had 2 antique iron beds in the room so this bed fit perfectly. My husband had no trouble assembling the bed. It came with 2 sets of legs so it can be lower to the floor or higher. We opted for the higher version. We also decided to use a box springs and a mattress. The slats seem to be strong enough to use without the box springs but with teenagers, we didn't want to take chances. Plus I use the bed to fold clothes and the height helps me out. It is lightweight but still a strong bed. The stickers were easy to remove. I also like that the bed is high enough from the floor that company can slide their suitcases or shoes under the bed easily. The frame is light enough that I can pull it out to make the bed with ease. I am proud to have it on our home.

We love it.. Just not having to mess with box springs is a BIG plus...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was initially hesitant to try this bed frame because I am not usually a fan of black or metal furniture, but it is for my grandson and it should fit with the other decor nicely. I had also read that some people were having some trouble with the middle beam warping, but I decided to try it in spite of that. The box it was delivered in was a little cumbersome but not too heavy for me to move and maneuver into the room. I was pleasantly surprised when I got the bed frame out of the box because it is more of a powder-coated, dull black instead of bright and shiny. The design has a bit of a vintage feel, which I like. The assembly was pretty self-explanatory and the instructions were clear. The process was simple, just a little time consuming. The slats look like it will give the bed plenty of support, also. We put this one in the lower position because my grandson will be using it in his room. Overall, I am happy with the functionality and design of this product, and I can't wait for my grandson to see his new big boy room!

A Four-Year-Old Deserves a New Big Boy Bed

I would have given the bed 5 stars if it hadn't arrived bent. I was able to bend it back correctly and it works. It's super cute for many different decor styles. Bending it the way it was supposed to be was easier than shipping it back.

This is an attractive bed. Given the price its a great bed, but be forewarned there are SO MANY  pieces and steps to putting it together. Not hard but it took awhile. Its in my son's room and he is at college. Really hoping it wont be squeaky

Do not get this bed unless you want to hear it squeak every move you make. The most obnoxious sound when you're just readjusting at night. Terrible, annoying, waste of money. Although it is cute and affordable, get a higher quality bed that is quieter, this is absolutely the most annoying bed I've ever had in my life.
