Picture makes product seem as in normal size can.  Too small making this an expensive purchase even when on sale.

The fruit itself tasted fine but was a bit different than usual, darker colour, smaller slices. Checked the can, it was a product of South Africa! I have bought this product at stores for years, have never seen this before. I had 9 tins left, took them to the local store and exchanged for their stock which is USA product. Nothing against South Africa, and I understand the drought conditions in the US lately. But I would much rather support Canadian or US suppliers and workers.

No real taste & they added sucralose which is not healthy at all!!!!

Del Monte in water sliced peaches

The first thing I noticed was that this product smelled a bit different than usual canned peaches (I kid you not, the slight aroma of stinky feet). Then, it tasted a bit "off" -  the peaches had a distinct overly-sweet, yet sour aftertaste. (And no, the product was not spoiled!) I followed by confusingly glancing at the ingredients...and things started to make sense. Please note, even though the can boasts "NO SUGAR ADDED",  that does NOT mean there aren't ANY sweeteners added to the product - it simply means they used that sucralose crap INSTEAD. Sucralose is an artificial sugar-substitute notorious for it's slightly "off" smell and bad aftertaste (not to mention its unhealthy for you!). Had I known this product had sucralose in it, I would have never bought it. Instead of advertising "NO SUGAR ADDED" (and making people think the product is TRULY unsweetened), why not simply state "SWEETENED WITH SUCRALOSE" instead, Del Monte? A bit misleading, don't you think??
