I finally found the rice used in restaurants and food court vendors. It's taste good when steamed or used later for fried rice. I bet it's great for congie too.

Very tasty! I recommend this white rice for everyone who loves sticky, fresh, and soft rice. As an Asian girly, it's a 10/10 for me! I really like the jasmine fragrance as well.

Delicious Rice

I really like this brand. The rice is tasty and flavourful. It's really similar to the rose brand but in my opinion it's better.  I usually cooked a little less water than normal the texture turn out really good.

Very flavourful and tasty

Love it. Smell good and soft as the jasmine rice should be.  For those who think this rice is mushy. I think you do not know the measurement and how to cook it. For jasmine rice, it is always 1:1.5 ( rice 1 / water 1.5) Even when cooking it in the microwave, this measurement still applies.

Great quality rice—cooks up fluffy and tastes fresh. Good value for the price (got it on sale), will definitely buy again.

I guess I bought it at wrong time. It tasted more like a regular white rice than a Thai Hom Mali rice. It's probably been quite some time since harvested.

Mediocre

i searched up that this is the best rice for asian i.e. south china but it turns out too soft and thin and my friends said it might be indian style rice. (i prefer rice chewy like japanese sushi)

With cost of Thailand rice rising out of proportion, the Walmart imported rice seemed like a great value, so I gave it a try and hope it measures up to the brand I used but which has risen to almost double Walmart's price. The cooked Walmart rice using the same method and rice cooker produces a decent dinner rice but nothing special to write home about. Notably missing is the fragrance emitted when the rice is cooked, and the texture reflected its price. But in all fairness, it is a very good value staple if you are not an extreme rice fanatic.

You get your money's worth !

Our family has been buying this rice ever since we came to Canada, and this is my first time purchasing it online. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed because it's not the same as the one we used to buy before. The texture almost feels like sticky rice, which is very different from what we're used to.

The quality is really poor and its not as we were expecting at all. The taste is too bad to eat as after steaming, it smells bad.
