[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are still still made the way the used to be, and that's good.   They are not made  of paper-thin fabric like so many things these days.   They wash and dry well, and they last for years.

I have worn dickies work pants for the past 12 years and they are great except since I've gotten "bigger" in the past 12 years the edge of the pants tend to rollover and the white edge is visible. They finally fixed this with the black edge flex pants. Also the flex material is so much more comfortable. I did notice that the fabric being more stretchy means the pants are looser. In the future I will be ordering one size smaller. Oh, and I wish they would move the tag to the lower end of the pocket. It's so long it sticks out at the top when you put them on.

Finally no white rollover edge!

Growing up in Uvalde TX. i wore khaki Dickies to catholic school.  At the time I want all that excited but didn't realize how entrenched Dickies would become to me.  I have been living in Dickies shorts and pants for as long as I can remember.  Heck...my friends and i pretty much have grey Dickie shorts and a black t-shirt as our un-official Offical uniform(I got married this past summer in a pair of khaki shorts....).  The 874's have been a staple as well but always seemed a bit "rough" for the first few months of a new pair but with these 874 Flex....Heck Yeah Dawg, you knocked this outta the park.  I wouldn't trade these for a six pack and a F100 Unibody. Thank you again

874 Flex Work Pant

I have worn 874s every day for 20 years and in the summer they can be a little constructive. These new flex have an awesome soft waist band and seem to have a little more room. Initially ordered 2 pairs to try and after a week I ordered 5 more pairs. I can't speak for the colors because I only have khaki however I do plan on ordering black and grey.

Very comfortable

My son's job has work uniforms. The Dickie's navy-blue work pants are exactly what his company uses for their work uniform pants. It is so helpful to be able to buy them directly from you in the correct size. They arrived promptly and were exactly the correct size. Worked great!

EXCELLENT WORK PANTS

In my opinion, the 874 flex are much more comfortable than regular 874's. The belt loops are bigger, making putting on a belt much easier. The thing I'm concerned with is whether or not the knees will last as long since the material seems to be a little softer or lighter weight.

Comfortable Work Pants

I ordered 4 new pairs of pants in size 36x30  for my husband for Christmas. . The navy blue say 36x30 but are much larger than the other pants and do not fit him at all. Of course i noticed this after we washed them so not able to return. Disappointed.

Im a little disappointed

These pants are ok sometimes. But they're inconsistent. Some times I think they mislabel the when they're produced. I recently bought 874 flex in khaki and chocolate both size 32x32. the chocolate are looser around my waist but slimmer than my 873's in the legs. The khaki are so tight around my waist it's uncomfortable but they're wayyy baggier in the leg. I bought a pair of 873 in charcoal in 33x32 and the waist fits like a 36. It's pretty absurd. It's a shame it's so hard to find them in stores because it's a gamble ordering online without trying them on first.

Absolutely NO give to the waistband.  So disappointed you no longer make the pants with actual elastic in the waistband.

No FLEX

It is a shame you used to have the work pants that had a stretch band in the waistband. Then that was discontinued But a flex band was a little different and were fine so I ordered flex 40” waist that do not fit. I think there needs to be better description
