Inspired by General Dwight D. Eisenhowers favorite WWII jacket, our updated version is known for its classic good looks, rugged durability and lightweight warmth. This customer favorite features button cuffs, adjustable waist tabs, an interior pocket and pencil pocket on the left sleeve. Its shell is 65% polyester/35% cotton twill with a nylon taffeta lining quilted to polyurethane foam for warmth. Available in a variety of colors with extended sizing.

Just bought my second one in 10 years.  Sturdy outer shell with clean lines and easy to maintain.  Only reason I bought a new one is the insulation material was losing form and sagging down into the cuffs and hem.  That's no fault of the jacket--I wore it...all the time into every kind of work environment around the world.  Hope Dickies still makes this 10 years from now because it's a classic and if I do need a new one I'll get this again.

Sturdy with great style

I had one of these jackets for >10 years and loved it. I ordered a new on of the same size (Large regular), and it was much bigger (See pic). After the return, the next size smaller (Medium regular) is exactly right. A great jacket for ~3 seasons in New Mexico. 

After several years the padding came loose and bunched up at bottom. I have now read not to put it in the dryer when washing it.

Great quality jackets. We buy dozens a year for our charity riders and have them embroidered and patched. Will continue. We love Dickies!

We use this jacket as a gift to our members retiring, the embroidery comes out awesome on this jacket and it's style is timeless!!

"The Jacket"

I love these jackets and have owned many. I have worn them as a motorcycle mechanic as well as a director of photography for motion pictures. Roomy and durable. The blue goes nicely with grays and denim to be worn to business dinners etc..The perfect casual jacket.

Black Insulated Eisenhower Jacket

I just purchased my third Eisenhower jacket. All three that I own are size Medium- R. The first two fit me perfectly. The new one runs bigger.

The older jackets are not smaller due to shrinkage - one of them I rarely wear so as to keep it in nice condition, so it hasn't been washed much, if ever. I have laid my dark blue jacket over my new light blue jacket, and the new jacket is wider in the body and sleeves. It may not look like a big difference, but it feels very bulky when worn. I wish the sizing had not been adjusted.

I hesitate to order a Small now, because it might be too short in the body and sleeve, or tight in the shoulder (usually a problem with Small shirts/jackets for me).

Otherwise, a very nice and durable jacket that can be worn in any season. I like the new variety of colors too.

Eisenhower jacket

It was obvious the material was high quality; thick and well made. Wish it was a bit more slim fitted for my taste but no complaints

Quality Fabric

The seams of the sleeves are very poor quality not to return to the store because it is already used are badly seen with the naked eye

It's defective

I bought this jacket less than a month ago for workwear and the material is getting damage very unhappy
