Excellent fabric and cut, the high waist is easier and more supportive of my back than other, lower sitting jean brands. Also, as my job requires a lot of bending, kneeling, and lifting, the extra knee fabric and stitching helps pad and support my joints.

The perfect work jeans with double knee protection and they look amazing on him :)!! My only wish is they were a little cheaper. The fit is perfect all around, I definitely would recommend these jeans for everyday wear, not only for work!

This is only my 2nd pair, I've had the last for who knows how long before they got lost, I know Dickies might not earn money from me saying this but, the last pair just lasted so long, if I hadn't lost them, I wouldn't have gotten a new pair, but because they were well built and comfortable, I got another pair. I also have other Dickies jeans, shirts and shorts, also lasting way too long :-)

Long lasting

I am a carpenter and abuse any work wear I put on each day. Most jeans last a few weeks and are worn through the knees or thighs very quickly but these double knee jeans are tough and long lasting. I estimate four times longer wear before they give out. They are all I buy now for work as the price is worth it as one pair is cheaper than buying four regular pair and last 4 times longer.

I have been buying Dickies double knee carpenter jeans for years because they are great tough jeans.

As with a lot of things one used to buy in a brick and mortal...the store stopped stocking them, so you can't actually see what you are buying.
These appear to be similar without the tool pockets and hammer loop.
Looking forward to putting them to work.

Wonderful quality.  My second pair for wear when the first are in the laundry. The fabric is soft, yet strong.  SO UPLIFTING to find a company that is still making good, old-fashioned all cotton, heavy jeans.  I have thrown away all my cheaper jeans mixed with nylon (stretch denim).  They could not withstand two or three washings and the waistband rolled. Not these jeans!  Top-notch! First quality! American made quality and the nicest staff you'll ever meet. P.S. - I am a 32" waist, but for yard work bending comfort, I bought the 34" waist.

My dad bought me 2 pairs of Dickies jeans for Christmas a few years ago, and I've been wearing Dickies jeans, khakis or shorts almost daily ever since.

I have to shop in the 'big and tall' section for the time being (worked down from a 56 waist to a 52 so far), and I find the Dickies pants line very comfortable, practical and durable although the shirts run smaller then I expect and the boots are disappointing.

My only complaint in the newest jeans I bought is the cell phone pocket is positioned too much to the rear and my cell phone gets sat on sometimes. I expect it to break at some point although I try to sit carefully.

The best I've found

sizing is accurate and the color is nice, but the front pockets seem to be missing a few stitches or possibly cut wrong? the lining of the pockets is really visible in the inner corners. otherwise love!

Look like good jeans, bought them for the double knee.  Unfortunately, the 32 waist is actually a 30 waist.  I buy 32 in wrangler and levis, never have a problem.  I have to wear a belt with those or they fall off.  These I can barely buckle.  They say they are to fit "just below the waist," which I hadn't noticed, but that would make them even tighter, I would think, to fasten them over the hips rather than just above, as I normally wear them.  Everything else fit fine, so afraid to order the 34 for a waist fit and have everything else be too baggy.

i have bought several of these pants before but for some reason this time the fit was not the same.  it's smaller at the top of the waste like for a slim fit. they need to go back to the original ones that was awesome before.  plus price has went up 10 dollars. which is high for jeans
