Attached to each other. Not as high as our tall mattress, so not much higher than the top of the mattress. Enough to stop him, but could climb over as toddler

This item is not high enough to protect a small infant

look closely

Seems to be an easy set up, however the product is of poor quality and the connection of the two pieces was difficult.  Also it says it would fit a full bed but did not.  Height also seems low compared to other brands.  I returned them and bought a different brand that I knew would work.

Did not like.

The description states it will fit a full bed. It DOES NOT fit a full bed. Very misleading and disappointing.

False information

My little one's mattress is 12.5" inches thick and these do not even reach the top of the mattress let alone provide any protection from a toddler rolling. There are 2 height settings, low and tall and neither fit. I'm not sure where they get their 16" measurement from cause it is way off.

i love the color but putting this together was not as easy at theu say idk of my bar was bent but i literally had to use a knife
