On my dog's behalf I would have to say that he loved these chews. The real chicken and sweet potato was a hit for sure. He kept wanting more and any time I picked up the bag he was right there waiting. He was able to chew them easily and had no issues digesting them. I feel confident giving my dog these treats as they are made with only 5 ingredients and with no added wheat, soy, corn, or artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. These chews not only make a tasty treat, but a great way to have extra protein and a healthy alternative to rawhide.

Our puppy loves these! We've been using them as a reward for her going into her crate!  She really enjoys them, they take her a little bit of time to chew them which is great for her teeth!  We will for sure be buying these in the future!  The ingredients is a buying feature as well! So nice to see a dog treat that is not filled with a bunch of garbage!

I received this from Home Tester Club and Dream Bone! I gave these to the dog next door and she loved them! I gave her 2 pieces the first time and after she finished she howled at me! She does this when she wants a treat so this meant she wanted more and that she loved them! The treats looked like miniature apple slices and very easy to digest. I have bought dream bone products before so I was very excited to be chosen for this mission! Dream bone is a very healthy treat and I will be buying these in the future.  Dream Bone Protein Rings have meat, and natural ingredients in them and are a healthy snack that keep your pet wanting more!

A Healthy Treat

The texture of these treats slows down pup from swallowing them down whole. He absolutely loved them and they don't smell bad for the hooman giving fur babies the treats. I have a multi dog home and even my older dog who had teeth pulled and has trouble with some harder treats was able to enjoy these treats. They are a bit large for my pug so I had to cut them in half but all
4 of my dogs enjoy them. I recommend these and am looking forward to my local store stocking them. They will be a regular treat in our home.

The ring slowed him down

I have 2 dogs - 1 smaller mixed breed -Brutus- age 12 and 1 med size age 10 yrs -mixed breed .  With first try - they were both apprehensive - took it and put it down. 2nd time - Brutus was excited and loves it -- Ms Moe - seems to enjoy it very much -- just doesn't gulp it down the way Brutus does.  All in all - A WINNER!

My dogs both seemed to really enjoy these, but I am not sure how much I did. My 40 lb mixed breed seemed to chew them down safely and easily. My 20 lb Boston with an underbite seemed to have more challenging time chewing them which made me nervous, so I watch her every time she eats one just to be safe. They are thick and chewy, so I am sure the underbite does not help that. But once again, the dogs definitely liked them so that is why they get 4 stars…1 less than 5 stars cause of my nerves.

Dream Bone Protein Rings have received 2 thumbs up, or should I say '4 paws' up, from my three Cavaliers.

I have been very reticent to feed them rawhide, due to the dangerous issues that it causes.  So I enjoy the fact in which the first two ingredients that make up Dream Bones are chicken and dried sweet potatoes.  

The only thing that makes me a little leery is  that they contain glycerine; although glycerine is used as a sweetener and to bind ingredients together into chewy treats, their packaging merely states 'glycerine'.  So I do not know if it is a 'natural' vegetable glycerine or a by-product.  I would presume that it is the former, since the package states 'no preservatives or flavours added'.  But it would be a good idea to qualify if the glycerine is natural, as I mentioned.

I also like their shape, which reminds me of sliced cored apples.

All-in-all, Dream Bone Protein Rings pass the test in what my boys would say is  'a scrumptulicious treat!'

My dog loved the taste of these treats, but I had to break them into smaller pieces, as they are very chewy and he had some difficulty getting through them.  Chicken is the first ingredient, with no added preservatives.  This is a much healthier choice than most snacks on the market!

Better Snacking

The product itself was good.
The store was a little disappointing.
After I got the notice that the product was delivered to the store, I waited about 4 days for my notice that it was ready for pickup.
I finally went in and it was ready.
The store forgot to notify me.

Store was lacking

I tested the treats with my GSD and two of his buddies. All had very different reactions. One dog sniffed and walked away. Another dog liked it but had a terrible time chewing it. We had to cut the treat into smaller pieces. My GSD  scarfed it down and picked up the treat the other dog walked away from.
