I have just moved into a new built condo and the air is so dry that it hurts to breathe. This humidifier works like a dream and I pair it with my cool link air purifier for the best results possible. It is wonderful to see how it has improved the air quality for me. No more waking up with a sore throat.

We purchased this for our bedroom and because we're expecting our first child soon and we heard that humidifiers are a must for newborn babies when they get sick. We absolutely love this purchase! Very quiet operation and love that it acts as a fan as well. UV-technology is really cool and holds lots of water so you don't have to refill all the time.

The Best Humidifier Money Can Buy!

I own two Dyson humidifiers now. They work fantastically. The pandemic has me indoors a lot more often. I was suffering from itchy eyes, nose, throat and skin from the dry air in my home (measured it - it was hovering at 18 to 20 %)! The Dyson humidifiers have eliminated that problem altogether and with their use, the humidity levels in my home can be brought up to between 30 and 50 percent - which is ideal! We move them around to different rooms as we need them; they are in our bedrooms at night. They are quiet, easy to assemble, easy to use and clean . . . and most importantly, they do what they are supposed to.

Dyson does it again!

I have been using the AM10 at night for the past two months and it is the best humidifier I have ever used. It disperses the humidified air throughout the room and is almost silent when operating at all but the highest fan speeds, which I have not found necessary to use. It has been perfect for use while sleeping. From across the room the humidifier produces gentle, cool, steady air movement. The water tank is much smaller than on other humidifiers I've owned, making it easier to fill and carry, but because the humidified air is dispersed efficiently, and the humidifier automatically adjusts the target humidity based on temperature, a tank lasts throughout the night. Humidification can be turned off, so the AM10 is also an excellent, blameless fan.
I've had to throw a number of humidifiers away because however carefully I tried to clean them they became contaminated with mold and bacteria, but since the AM10 continuously serializes the water it uses for three minutes, I'm confident I won't have this issue again.
Recommended without reservation.

Highly Recommended Humidifier and Fan

This is an incredibly sooth and quiet unit. I like sleeping with a fan on for white noise and this unit creates just the right amount of white noise and while doing so keeps the humidity levels of our home at a very comfortable level. Very easy to clean and maintain.

INCREDIBLY SMOOTH AND QUIET

Not happy at all; humidifier does not flee its base, even with scrupulous and miticulous interviews, nothing shows why... the display has lost a bar one can no longer read correctly even problem with the purifier heater! I have tried to communicate many times but always a dead letter! AT THE BUTT OF 2 YEARS THE DISPLAY OF THE 2 APPLIANCES SHOW THE SAME FAILURE!? A HORIZONTAL BAR is lost...

3 years, pathetic display and operation!? - Oh, my God.

This humidifier is assumed to be a great product considering its price. Unfortunately it failed to run on the first day of use. Continuously having an error code F1 after 15 minutes then stopped. I have followed the reset procedure multiple times with the same result. I can't recommend this product with this experience. Hope you'll be more lucky.

Not worth

We bought this 6 months ago.

Around the same time, started noticing a film of white dust on every surface that would accumulate quickly. Thought it was because of concrete ceilings (we had just moved in)...

Did not realize this was because of the humidifier until recently when the white dust accumulation broke our central AC system and caused water damage - the dust accumulation was so bad the AC technician thought it was plaster from putting up drywall!

The point here is the white dust this thing generates is no joke. Disappointed in Dyson for coming up with a product with such a significant flaw (coming from a Dyson fanboy).



Their solution to this is to use distilled water... I'd invite you to take a few minutes to map out the logistics and cost of such a solution...



Would not recommend.

Dust

Piezo needs replacement frequently.Used machine for 2 years. Stored for one year correctly. When trying to use for third year machine would have to be sent for repair as would not function. Cost unknown. Suggest buying inexpensive humidifier as value for price not there.
