I bought this Dyson because this year I have suffered from allergies more than previous years. I have had another brand for a few years but felt I needed something better. This machine I was so impressed I bought one for my son as well. He loves his too. I may also buy one for my son in law!!!

I have wanted one of these for about a year and it was worth the wait!!!

Good graphic feature display -with numerous features- temp, humidity, pollen and others - possibly useful for health benefits, such as asthma/hayfever.

Timing feature, fan can be in fixed position, has different settings - osculates.

control easy to use and magnetized so can keep with fan. 

Able to set fan on via blue tooth - from smart phone - labour saving! can be in a different room or away from home. 

Can use in any room, on a cabinet or the floor - ideal for a smaller size property.

Use it during the night - quiet and night mode so no light - so does not disturb sleep even if light sleeper.

only negative found with fan - it has a very bulky plug and cannot use a plug socket within a restricted space area.

Stylish fan.

People who like easy to use but smart gadgets will love this fan!

Excellent quality fan - with great features

It is nice to be able to improve the air quality in my home and being portable is a big plus. I have it downstairs during the day and in the bedroom at night. I have breathing problems and do not sleep well but since using the Dyson Pure Cool purifying fan I have found that I sleep a lot better. I don't know if this is a coincidence or not. I find it very easy to use the night mode is quiet and I personally am very pleased with this product.

GOOD FEATURES AND EASY TO USE

I have a household with 3 cats, and after we got the cats we found out my husband and 2 children were allergic to cats, so we have HEPA filters all over the house. This purifier is by far the most intelligent filter we have (and we also have the Dyson Pure Hot+Cool Link Purifier). It automatically detects when there is a lot of pollutants in the air and turns on and filters accordingly. The display is a nice feature so I can tell when the air quality is poor in the room.

I am always cold, so I love the fact that there is an option to switch the air flow to avoid cooling the room even more. My husband has totally taken over this fan, though, because he loves a cool room when he sleeps, but needs a filter to purify the air. The purifier is quiet enough to not disturb our sleep while keeping him cool.

It was so easy to set up the product. We did have a slight issue setting up the filter on our Dyson app, but it was an easy fix with the support we found on Dyson.com and we were able to set up the product within about 10 minutes on the app.

Very intelligent product

As to be expected from Dyson great build quality the filters fitting with a reassuring click and all up and a couple of minutes after removing from sturdy well packed box. Marketed as a desk fan I found it quite bulky and took up a lot of available desk space but works well from the floor in rooms where there is no desk space. The instruction booklet states that the ring should not be used to lift the fan and I found it awkward to move around especially from the floor. Effortless connection to the Dyson link app on iPhone iPad and Alexa from where you can fully control and monitor the fan and air quality.

The air flow is variable from 1 to 10 at five I could not hear it but could feel the airflow from ten feet away from 6 upwards it can be heard and at 10 is quite loud but the airflow is amazing.The night setting is silent so the fan will cool the bedroom without disturbance. The great thing about this fan is there are no moving parts so no worries when inquisitive little people are visiting unlike the whirring blades of a conventional fan. Dyson claim the filters automatically removes 99.95% of allergens and pollutants from the air. The quality of the filters would lead me not to doubt this. I moved the fan around the house and each room registered good quality air but even without any pollution problems present the air from the fan seemed fresher. I don't, but I would imagine if breathing problems or airborne allergies were a problem then this fan is a must.

Excellent quality

Cleaner air in a few hours after starting up my Dyson Pure Cool. The self-sensing ability of the Pure Cool is perfect for and on the go family. We do not have to remember to turn on the Pure Cool or worry about it running all day. Once you set it up it takes care of cleaning all the pollen out of the air and VOC's of which we are impressed. Light weight and quite in the lower settings but if the fan detects dirty air it kicks in to hight mode and can be as expected a little loud but it is still quieter than bladed box or oscillating stand fans. We really enjoy the wireless connectivity and control it gives you thru the Dyson Link app. It is good to see the reports it generates too about the quality of the air in your home giving you an idea of peak particulates.

Next to our Dyson Vacuum this is one of my favorite Dyson products. I experience many tech products in my line of work and I can't stop talking about the Dyson Pure Cool to my friends and clients.

Love the Connectivity thru Dyson Link and the clean Air

My Dyson Pure Cool arrived a few days ago. Unfortunately the packaging was slightly out of shape (looked like it had been knocked around in the delivery van) and both the seals were broken. However when I opened the box it seemed everything was in place and nothing was missing. Given how the box was dented I have to congratulate whoever designed the packaging as the product itself was not affected at all ! Setup was very easy as the instructions were clear and thorough. Linking the product to my phone was a breeze, and in no time at all I was setup and ready to go. I particularly like the Auto mode as it takes away the need for any interaction with the product. Set it to Auto and it will adjust the air distribution as needed, and the purifier improves the air quality very quickly in any room. The product blows out a lot of cool air on a high setting - this will be very useful on a hot summers day. I love the fact that it is taking all the toxins and particles out of the air as it cools. Night mode is excellent in the bedroom and would not stop anyone sleeping. I would certainly recommend this product to anyone looking for a purifier and a safe fan. Without blades and with children and pets around, this is a great idea and implemented very well indeed. Highly recommended !!

First Thoughts with the Pure Cool Desk

Working well. I take out one star for limited option to switch temperature format from celcius to fahrenhait. I understand the display show the format depends of purchase market 

But this is silly idea. Every devices on the market give the option to user.

Missing futures

Received this a recently and I like the machine so far. It is fairly quiet and comes on when it needs to. It is a little big which is the only drawback. If it was slightly smaller I would definitely have given 5 stars. I have a lot of Dyson products, and they all seem to great machines.

So far so good!

The air purifier and app work great but the fan is dreadful.

A cheap desktop fan is more effective at providing cooling air.

Stand more than 2m away From the fan and you cannot feel the air moving, certainly not like the illustrations promoting the fan.

Ineffectual below 5, noisy above it.

The only plus is that the filtering seems to work a treat but there are far cheaper options available.
