We had the original Dyson Pure Hot + Cool purifier fan which made a great difference to our cold basement kitchen. However, the new model has all of the fantastic original features with some really useful improvements. 

The initial pairing of this new device to the app was so much more simple than before, instinctive and very user-friendly. The separate read-outs for different pollutants is brilliant, we love the fact that both the device and the app show in much greater detail the mix of pollutants in the room. One night we noticed a smell of smoke coming from outside (a small neighbourhood fire). The Dyson had been registering high levels of VOCs for a lot longer than we had been aware of, which then made us wonder if Dyson could add an alarm to the device if it registered unusually high levels of a pollutant. 

As it is bigger than the earlier model the heating facility is much more effective. The new ability to direct cool air out of the back of the device avoids unnecessary draughts in to a room, a great addition to this device.

I am so happy with my Dyson Pure Hot and Cold purifying fan. It really is amazing! It heated up a large room speedily and quietly, and also gives cold air which will be great in the summer. The air felt clearer - since getting this product, my asthma, which had been keeping me awake at night, has totally settled allowing a good night's sleep. It has a night setting which is also quiet enough not to keep me awake. The magnetic remote control is brilliant, and sticks nicely to the fan so it won't get lost. As someone who is not great with technology, the instructions were very clear, the app easy to download and use, and allows me to switch it on to heat the house before I get home, which will be lovely on cold winter evenings. It has been so easy to get used to and use, and I cannot think of anything but positive comments! I highly recommend this product.

Fantastic product, highly recommended!

My sons room is cold in the winter and hot in the summer plus window is facing road - so I finally found a solution for it all! It was easy to set up, app works smoothly and so useful - I don't need to go upstairs to his room to check room temperature and adjust. Very easy to navigate and I'm not the most technology friendly person. I am absolutely amazed at its power, diversity and features. I can leave it overnight running quietly and adjusting room temperature by itself, it picks up any impurities and clears the air. I was sceptical at first but yes, you can definitely tell the difference with purified air! It will be such a relief in hay fever period! If I'm to be picky and find any downsides? - it's not small, yes, but so smooth, modem and elegant so it's great accessory actually in the room, so it's travelling between our living room for whole family to enjoy and my sons bedroom.

If you find it pricey - believe me, worth every penny! Can't recommend enough.

Perfect 3 in 1

This is an amazing product. This is the second fan we've had from Dyson and they keep getting better. The heat and cool functions both work well and are easy to control from the app - making warming the bedroom up 10 minutes before going to bed, whilst still sat in the lounge, a new treat. The air quality has improved significantly and I've noticed a real difference in waking up in the morning without a blocked nose and it's also helped with dust and particles affecting my asthma.

Its lovely and quite too on the purifying setting and you hardly notice it in the background. The app is so easy to use and monitor, we even use it when we're on holiday overseas to keep the air circulation going in the house. 

All in all this really is an amazing product and I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone.

Every home should have one.

When the box arrived I was surprised by its size. It's big. That said I took it out of the box, I did need the manual to fit the filters but after that the product is very intuitive and self explanatory BUT exploring the manual does reveal a welsh of features. The motor that swivels the machine is super silent but I do think that the fan itself can be noisier at full power. Fortunately there is a night mode and I really like the sleep timer. Finally, this machine can really heat up a room quickly. Its amazingly fast!!! Overall, I would definitely recommend it to anyone and I am curtly very happy to have it. Its very cool.

Amazing piece of kit

Haven't had the Dyson Pure Hot+Cold long enough but so far so good. Sits at one end of a through lounge, within minutes we have a cosy warm family area.We love our food but loathe the residual odour, this wonderful creation eliminates odour and purifies the air, we have it switched on 5 mins before we sit down for meals and switch it off shortly after we finish. Leaving no trace of even the strongest curry spices or roast. My husband has it linked to his mobile via the app which ensures warmth as soon as we enter our home in this cold season. He has it set on a daily timer but on the weekends when we are not on a schedule it's on with a simple command even when we are out. We are looking to invest in another for the upstairs.

Totally wow

Before we received this machine, we had a tower fan, space heater and humidifier.  Granted this machine is not a humidifier, but the air purification feature has resulted in both of us waking up in the morning without congestion.  It's quiet, intuitive, informative, convenient and looks elegant in a room.

Absolutely Love It!!!

Struggled to breath or sleep due to the weather in the last couple of months. Purchased the Dyson Hot and Cool and have never looked back. I mostly use it on auto, and once the purifier has done its job the fan is quiet enough to sleep next to. Really enjoying using this product.

Well, was okay until they discontinued the product and now I can't get parts for it...seriously. Spending that much money, they know thousand of people have bought the product, but they discontinue not only the heater/cooler fan (which is fine) but they don't continue making the filters. Sent me filters they said would fit, argued with me that they would, showed them pictures that they don't then admitted they discontinued the parts. Horrid online chat help...
