Of course the 5gal Type II is strong, safe, and in my usage UV blocking as I use it to store fuel with MMT.  Awesome on those points.

The fill port with the heavy sprung lid is a little awkward to get a gas pump nozzle with the vent style like here in California, and also getting a funnel in there.

For the cost of the can, you would think an outer box would be a simple way to avoid damage.  The edge met something harder than it was in transit and dented the most critical part, the crimped lip holding the two parts together.  The dent was only about an inch or so, and so far, it doesn't appear to leak, so fingers crossed.  I'm not someone who expects my work tools to never show signs of use.  But seeing as how this is a critical part of the construction, double boxing would be cheap insurance against damage.

Now the can functions top notch.  It really is in another league compared to 99% of the plastic cans, and the auto-venting lids are hands down better than the new CARB Jerry style cans.  Fills easy, dispenses even easier.   can fill small equipment much easier with hand control than the stupid plastic CARB ones.  Plus, seals tight when closed.  So far, best can I've owned, presuming the dent doesn't ever leak.

Very nice can, mediocre packing for shipping

The gas can is well constructed and very functional.  It makes it easy to fill equipment without multiple gyrations required by other gas cans to get through all the environmental safe guards.  With the 'other' cans, I probably spill more gas and create more vapors than the safe guards could ever prevent.  This can has a vent to allow me to store it within my shed without the can collapsing during high temperatures.  I only gave it 4 stars due to the plastic handle to open the can for pouring.  I'm hoping that the handle lasts... so far it is good.

Makes gas flow again

Haven't used it yet to fill other machinery, but seems sturdy.  Yellow plastic pull lever works easily.  Filled the can with no problem.
