I ordered more of these because I love them!  The parts that touch the coffee are glass and stainless steel.  Each one makes great cup of coffee or tea.  I use two of them along with a pot that heats water quickly.  I rinse them off in the sink.  Highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have no complaints about this press. It's the perfect size for 1 or 2 people. I love that it has the measurements marked on the side (of course time will tell if they begin to rub off, but so far so good). I love that the glass cylinder comes out so I can pop it in the dishwasher; also I like that the cylinder slightly compresses into the frame in a way that secures it so that it doesn't just slide out while pouring. It's a simple yet very effective design. The glass is thin, but it's exactly as thick as ever other press I've ever had, so it's the standard thickness. The press plates come apart easily for cleaning and when screwed back together, they remain tight and secure. It has a double fine mesh filter system, and I've never had ANY grounds in my final product. The plunger doesn't wobble at all; it's very secure and straight. The frame is plastic but not flimsy in the least; it's very well made. I couldn't be more pleased with this product. I'm ordering a second one for cold brew.

Perfect for one person. Very good quality. Nothing more needed to say, you found the single serve French Press you are looking for to keep it fresh and easy!

Look no more, this is the one

This French press is very good and makes excellent coffee. Previously I was using an electric percolator and comparing that to the French press, my percolator is now retired and out of service.

Excellent French Press

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use coffee pods always, so I thought I'd try this.  It took two times in order to get the right amount of coffee for 8 oz. of water, but this beats coffee pods as there is no bitter
taste. It takes more time, but if you want a smooth cup, this is it.  You will have to use a bottle brush to clean the glass container.

Surprising wonderful for her

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this for my morning English Breakfast Tea.  I use a separate one for my early afternoon coffee.   I would give it a 5 star, but my last one fell and the glass shattered.  I only want glass, and dropping it doesn't help .  lol

12 oz French press

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can't recommend this press to men who are used to "heavy work". Mostly meaning that anyone that doesn't remember it's glass when they're usin it will have a breakage problem. It took my husband 3 times to break it.

However, if you have a gentle approach then I highly recommend this press. It's easy to use and gives a perfect cup for 2 people or 2 cups for 1. It takes a little practice to get the coffee to water ratio right for you but stick with it. You'll get the best cup every time.

Not For Everyone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The carafe wall is very thin and fits loosely in the holder used to lift and manipulate the carafe when making coffee. In my case, the carafe slipped out of the holder and shattered in the sink while I was emptying coffee grounds.
