This book gave me detailed information on why I need to change the way I eat, so that I may live a more healthy life. It was easy to understand and gives you a sample plan to follow. I will look forward to getting the cookbook as well. I wish I had known about this years ago.

This is an excellent tool if you want to turn your life around in terms of nutrition. This book opened my eyes to be able to see what I was doing wrong with my body. Highly recommend it.

Excellent Tool

This book is very informative. It has made the difference for me and changing my perspective has helped me eat differently and be good with it. I am much healthier after reading and applying these principles.

This book truly changed my life.

I bought this book on the recommendation of a friend and then got one for my MIL. The recipes and suggestions are wonderful but I felt like the first half of the book was very long winded. My husband has been following the diet for a week and is down 5 pounds. I strongly suggest planning your menus before you buy anything, the shopping list has a lot of produce that we didn't use.

Omg Gentlemen, Ladies, Dad's Mom's Teens this is the book to read to take your health back.  Perfect title Eat to Live but I would also say Eat to Health...Many amazing testimonies in the book. Very easy to read

Eat to Live Great Book on eating RIGHT

We knew friends, one of which had several heart attacks - they had both lost a ton of weight and when we asked how they told us about this book. That was three years ago - we ordered the book, and as advised, we read the entire thing cover to cover BEFORE starting the program. I'm glad we did, as I know we would have failed had we not - it's so very important to learn about WHY and HOW first. Well, the very FIRST WEEK, I lost 14 lbs, hubby lost 8 lbs. The first few days were tough, but truly, by the 3rd day, we no longer "craved" the foods that were the cause of our problems! TRULY - no cravings. Once you grasp the concept that your body is a machine that will communicate with you, you start to look at food so much differently - eating to live instead of living to eat! In the 6 weeks, I had lost more than 30 lbs, hubby about the same. Since then, we've kept the weight off, have given up red meat entirely (don't miss it at all) and seriously cut down the dairy. Once you complete the "detox", you can start adding things back to your diet TO SEE HOW YOUR BODY HANDLES IT. Many things your body will clearly communicate to you that it DOES NOT WANT. Can't say enough about the book...IT JUST WORKS.

IT WORKED!

This book is wonderful! If you like salads, and vegs, this is for you. My husband and I were told about this book, how our friends lost a lot of weight and kept it off. Eating Natural foods, what we are suppose to eat.
In one week, my husband lost 9 lbs, I lost 8lbs, and we want to continue the full six week program, and continue to make it a part of our every day life. Its eating the way we are supposed to do, and giving the body all its vitimans, and cleans the body as a whole. Recommend it to anyone, who is serious about losing weight and keeping it off.

It works!

Lets just say I have had a rough road to say the least of dieting and starving and gaining the weight back plus some. I have been on Dr Furhman's 7 day crash diet and I have lost 13 lbs in 5 days I feel great and reading the book has helped me understand how to stay on the program and not fail I love the instructions and the recipes they taste great and have helped me lower my blood pressure. This is a great value and the shipping was super fast.

Great book

Great book and the price was right. Would definitely recommend purchasing the book to others who are interested in becoming healthy and losing weight at the same time. However, I was disappointed by the fact the it took a week longer than Walmart's projected delivery date to reach me.
