I grew up fishing these spoons in midwestern lakes for bass.  Hang up less than spinnerbaits due to their smaller profile.  For lots of bites, try a black 1/4 oz spoon with a black grub trailer (Z-Man grubs are great; last forever, and hold their position on the hook well).  Work great for western Lm in weedy cover also.  For pike, try a 1/2 oz silver spoon with a white trailer; then hang on tight!

I have caught so many trophies on these. I just ordered several more of the 1 1/8 oz Silver for my son and I and our next trip to Saskatchewan. I usually fish them w/ a 6 inch plastic worm trailing- pink, white or yellow- and hold on! Once caught a 48", 46", 45 and two 42" in the same weed bed before lunch. just cast and let it sink it will pull through the weeds w/ out a problem usually w/ a pike on. Good luck!

Best weedless for Pike there is!

I took about 20 Johnson Silver minnows to Family Lake in Manitoba in June. I also took a full tackle box of very other conceivable lure. I used, and caught fish, on Silver Minnows. It is by far the easiest bait to fish in the weeds, and caught lots of big fish. My personal best on this trip was a 42 1/2" monster pike. I'm heading back to the same place in two weeks, and restocked with more Silver Minnows.

A Classic

Kind of bummed that you don't sell 1/16th oz. SILVER MINNOWS, in silver. Odd, but I dont run the production line 1and I dont crunch the numbers.

However, I would be in for a bulk purchase of 50 of them, if ot got the ball rolling on producing 1/16th oz again.

Unfortunately, no silver

I ordered 20 spoons off the site. 10 gold and 10 new penny. I received 10 gold and 9 new penny. It is impossible to get through to customer service. I tried the message portal they have and it wouldn't deliver the message. Tried the phone 3 different days only to stay on hold forever and gave up. The rest of the items were as advertised and of good quality.

Be wary customer service.
