These placemats are nice and soft. I haven't washed them yet so don't know how well they hold up. The colour, charcoal, looks more like taupe but still works for us so I didn't exchange. Happy with them so far.

They are simple, elegant and rustic. Perfect for the cottage. The shade of green is very warm and adds a great touch of colour. They are machine washable! I haven't put them to that test yet, so no idea whether they come out from the wash as expected.
