Love this desk now that it is together. It's VERY time consuming to put together and the instructions lack somewhat. You really have to be careful to go from the instructions to the front & check twice before you use a screw because the pictures up front are to scale, the one's in the instructions are NOT. 2x I know we used the wrong screws. Other than assembly though, this is a great product. Good quality, beautiful, & a decent price!

Great looking desk, good value

love the functionality, as I will spend at least 8 hours at it. previous reviews were extremely helpful. Assembly is definitely a 5 hour job, and I had help. sometimes you hit a spot in directions that are not perfectly clear so you have to stop to figure it out. ships in 2 boxes, obviously different suppliers based on how items were marked, and scews labeled/pkg'ed. Recommend getting all screws and bolts sorted in kit form 1st. take your time getting the front doors aligned level. those instructions about the hinges are not part of last step but at back of book.
I recommend getting a top desk matt, as the beautifully finished top will nick. wish Bush would improve on that, as it is a commom report in reviews. Walmarts price was by far the best, saved over $140 on desk and file cabinet. the cabinet gave me the extra work surface I needed.
I would give this desk a 5 of 5, especially for value for price, aesthetic appeal, and desktop space.

great home office desk

I love my desk. It's sturdy, lots of drawer space, and very visually appealing. The only negative (if you want to call it that) is that there are a number of set-up steps (~30+) and takes some time to assemble. It took my husband and brother in-law nearly two hours. Other than that, absolutely no complaints.

Great product but tricky to set-up

I would recommend this product to any one looking for an inexpensive L-shaped desk.  It is sturdy and well built.  And looks very nice in my home office.

Bush Fairview L-shaped desk

I love my desk perfect fit, great price very sturdy and beautiful!!

This is a very nice desk and great value. Assembly directions were very easy to follow. I'm almost 58 yrs old and a grandmother. I had no problems putting this together myself, with the exception of the largest top. It's very heavy and solid and needed some help from my daughter lifting it into position and aligning it with the cam locks so they could be tightened.

Just purchased. It is sturdy, BUT the color is NOT antique white as shown in the picture - which was one of the main factors in my decision to purchase it - it is a shabby-chic driftwood gray/brown/beige that has been "antiqued." I had to paint it. Had I known the color, I probably would have kept looking. Additionally, there is a seam where the long piece of the top meets the shorter piece. It is big enough to catch dust - disappointing but not a deal-breaker. Not that difficult to assemble, but I've assembled many pieces of furniture including my kitchen cabinets. Beware of the color.

Made in China. Pilot holes we drilled incorrectly on the drawers

First, let me say that the desk is quite nice. One issue however, is that the door of the area that holds the CPU must stay open at all times if your computer is on because it gets very hot in there. My main issue however is that the directions to put it together are unbelievably BAD! They are printed so small that you cannot determine what is what even with a magnifying glass. There are many, many parts so it is not something that you can just look at and figure out what to do without good directions. Sorry, I would not recommend this item.
