Appearance

The Fittes vent is a nice upgrade to the traditional  looking vent. It your home a fresh modern look, which is a simple modification but makes a big impact.

Great product, clean finish

Just replace all of my old vents in my entire house before my painters went through. These vents definitely bring out the best look of my walls and give the entire room a more professional look and a transitional / modern style being painted the same color as the walls.

Vent

Easy install, as described. Great overall look and upgrade to traditional vent grills.

Great upgrade

I moved into a house with metal lathe & cement plaster ceiling. The surface-mounted screws on traditional vent covers wouldn't stay in the cement plaster, so I tired these. The color is a little blue-white, and I did need to use hot mud to fill in the gaps that were concealed by the wider traditional vent covers, but now that they're in they look pretty nice.

Looks great.  Only critique is that there are no holes for the installation screws.  I wasn't sure how to proceed with installing.  Predrilled holes would make a better look and ensure the screws are evenly placed.

Wall mount lite+

Wish borders of the frame were wider to cover screws, used to secure old vent, as well as the border of the opening. Some spackling and painting will be needed.

Just know the borders will be half the size as the regular vents.  Count on sanding and painting.  After hours of sanding, patching and painting- They look great!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The design of the Fittes wall air vent covers appealed to me after seeing them online as well as two actual installations.  I ordered six to replace the original covers in my 50  year old condo that had been painted many times and looked very dated.  Although the Fittes Lites+ replacements were the correct size each opening had to be repaired as the flange of the Fittes covers is not wide enough to cover the screw holes and damaged from the original covers.  It was a fair bit of work although I am now pleased with the final look.

Needs to include ALL industry standard- where is the 8x4? Need the frame to be 1" to be a real retrofit to industry standard. Right now 5he frame is too small and does not attach to anything. As a designer i cannot use this for an entire home. Email me anytime for additional feedback. 
Also it needs to have ALL industey stardard vent sizes....for example a 8x4. Why dosent fitt
