<ul><li>Flood Protection Paste in a Cartridge is our primary Flood Protection product that should be used as a base coat for your first layer of protection. The precision nozzle that allows you to target specific areas that need to be sealed.</li><li>Flood Protection Liquid should be used as a final coat of protection to help seal any small pinholes or openings that may have been missed.</li><li>Once waters recede, both Flood Protection Paste and Liquid can be easily removed.</li><li>Starter Kit Also Includes: (1) Caulking gun, (1) Flex Gap Filler Tool, (1) 2" paint brush, (2) pairs of gloves, and our instructional How-to Guide.</li></ul>

Flood Protection Starter Kit includes: (1) 9oz Flex Paste® Flood Protection (Cartridge), recommended as your first layer of protection; and (1) 10oz Flex Seal Liquid® Flood Protection, recommended as final layer of protection. Also includes additional tools to make your job easier. PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS Flood Protection Paste in a Cartridge starts out as a thick, paste that can be pushed deep into all types of openings and hard-to-reach areas. It dries to a strong, flexible, rubberized barrier. It seals out water, air, and moisture and remains flexible. Always push the Flood Paste into all seams and openings using a gloved finger, Flex Gap filler tool or similar tool. This will help create a watertight seal. Always be cautious of any sharp objects that may cause injury.Flood Paste in a Cartridge is the primary Flood Protection product and should be used as a base coat for your first layer of protection. The cartridge nozzle allows you to target specific areas that need to be sealed. Use on windows, doors, garage doors, and all types of seams, casings, thresholds, conduits, vents and ducts, keyholes, and more. Flood Protection Liquid starts out as a liquid. It seeps into gaps, cracks and openings and dries to a strong, flexible, watertight, rubberized, coating. It blocks out water, air, and moisture, while remaining flexible. It helps seal any small pinholes or openings that may have been missed. Just brush a generous amount directly to the surface or over our other Flood Protection Products, making sure each coat is wider and overlaps the previous coat. Flood Liquid should be used primarily as a final layer of protection to help seal any small pinholes or openings that may have been missed. Brush a generous amount directly on top of our other Flood Protection products. When applying Flood Liquid, make sure each coat is wider and overlaps previous layers of our Flood Protection products. Once floodwaters recede, both Flood Paste and Flood Liquid can be easily removed. DRY TIME Flood Protection Paste: Depending on temperature, humidity, and thickness of coating, Flood Paste will dry to the touch in in approximately 2 to 6 hours and fully cure in approximately 24-48 hours. Allow product to fully cure before floodwaters arrive. Always use fresh material to seal an opening. Flood Protection Liquid: Depending on temperature, humidity, and thickness of coating Flood Liquid should dry to the touch in in approximately 3 to 6 hours and full cure in approximately 24-48 hours. When applying Flood Liquid, make sure each coat is wider and overlaps our other Flood Protection Products. Always use fresh material to seal an opening. COVERAGE Flood Protection Paste: A 1/4" inch bead will cover approximately 21 linear feet. Flood Protection Liquid: At 2 inches wide, 10oz will cover approximately 18-22 linear feet at 15 mils thick. IMPORTANT INFORMATION Always follow state and local weather advisories and evacuation orders. Depending on age and type of construction, there may be areas that cannot be seen or sealed. Unsealed porous surfaces may seep water during extended underwater exposure. Our Flood Protection products are NOT intended for flash floods, extreme winds or water pressure, to protect against flying or floating debris, or if there is structural damage to the building. A truly terrible product that does not match the description at all. When it comes time to remove or clean it, it turns into a complete nightmare. It sticks incredibly hard to the surface and is almost impossible to peel off. Even using a scraper barely works, and organic solvents do nothing to remove it. Cleaning it up is an absolute nightmare.
