[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow, I'm super impressed by this flex tape, it instantly stopped a small water leak. I cut the amount I needed off the roll and applied it to the leak area. I used it on PVC pipe until I'm able to fix the leak permanently. You can use flex tape to patch, bend, seal, and repair a leak, this tape gives you the ability to use on different types of surfaces. I highly recommend flex tape.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The darned cats clawed holes in my brand new expensive air bed. Flex Tape came to my rescue! I placed small patches on the holes and boom. All fixed up! This stuff is magical. And the big 10 inch roll will come in handy down the road i'm sure. It's a great time to be alive!

patched up my air matress!

I used this to repair my BBQ grill cover which got torn in a windstorm, and also a chaise lounge cover that also was damaged.  This tape sticks stronger than anything I've ever seen before.  It has been on the covers for quite a few months and doing great.  We will see what happens when we hit the 120 degree temps in a month or two!  So far, so good though.  Oh, I also made a little hinge out of a piece of it for an old finish dishwasher tablet container that I used to throw dirty butt wipes in.  The original plastic hinge part wore out, and this tape has been holding strong for 5 months!

This stuff saved the day when the metal liner in our outdoor freezer was damaged and the freezer would not stay cold.  I applied the tape directly to the freezer wall on the gash (about 1/2 inch wide by 22 inches long) and within several hours our freezer was cold enough again to use.  This is a temp fix but I will keep a roll of Flex on hand from now on because it really does seal well.

Fixed my Freezer Woes!

I hated the tape as soon as I tried to open it. It was extremely sticky on my fingers but when I finally tried to secure a video camera to my wall it was less sticky. The camera kept falling off the wall. I wish it didn't cost $14. Maybe $6 or $7, then I wouldn't be as peeved.

it does work.. but getting bubbles out is a necessity and it's not easy. on flat surfaces it holds stronger, and water pressure on the inside of pool does help it be stronger. large holes, it's possible but takes a can of flex seal spray and pateince, on small holes, so far it's working on inside of pool it does hold but edges will start coming off, so I drained water some and sprayed flex seal spray around edges and it's holding.. I also done the same thing on the outside of the pool. this stuff is dorable.. and does work.. like i said you will need a can of the spray too for edges i went over the whole patch to be on safe side. it was worth purchasing.

I purchased Flex Tape based on it's advertised features. It advertised that it will work under water to seal leaks in a variety of applications. I have a fiberglass coated swimming pool that has three small cracks on the stairs. I tried to apply the tape and there was no adherence to the fiberglass at all. When I tried to apply under water, it simply floated to the surface. I don't know how well it performs in other applications, but failed miserably to live up to it's advertising.

Flex Tape

This tape is garbage! I needed it to seal a small hole in a hose. I put it on, held it in place for 60 seconds then did not run the hose for 24 hours. I then ran the hose on low pressure and still saw a leak. I then double wrapped it and it definitely does not hold back water. I was tempted to also order the spray for my gutters but I'm glad I decided to wait.  This tape is useless and I would really like a refund!!

Useless waste of money!

Did not stick to surface under water. Once it got wet it lifted up and did not stick or patch. I was using this on my pool at the joint where the skimmer connects.  Plastic skimmer and pebble tech.

Not always a good choice for underwater repair.

They say it can be applied wet dry and even under water.....well that isn't true. I used it on a leaking pipe and it continued to leak. The pipe had to be cut out of my house and replaced. I contacted the company and they said it has to be dry, clean and cleaned with a sandpaper material before applying. I indicated that wasn't in the directions and not how it is advertised on their own website. They are now escalating my issue to upper management. Be cautious before using this for any temporary plumbing fixes. It has been a few days worth of emails to the company and I'm not sure what is going to be done about the fact that it did not do what it said it could do. It may be good in other applications....not this though
