When doing heavy work, I wear Safety shoes. My last pair of Florsheim safety shoes were purchased when I still worked, in 2007. After retiring in 2008, I continued using the best of the two pair that I always used (alternating days) for work. During the past year, while working on our city's recycling trailer, I caught the soles of each shoe on sharp edges of the undercarriage and the sole sections went to pieces from it. I expect this pair to last me as long as I live. I have had Florsheim safety shoes as long as I was aware that they existed. (Thanks to a catalog from a "Steel Toe" specialist.) They are the MOST COMFORTABLE and enduring safety shoes I have worn in my entire lifetime of working in and around factories.

I wear these daily in a demanding kitchen. 100% non-slip. They are holding up very well. Florsheim sizing, comfort, fit and finish are well known to be the highest quality. These shoes uphold that standard.

Well made and comfortable.

I've always like Florsheim and these did not disappoint. Always fit well and last a long time. I do not like buying shoes online however this was painless - and it helped that the shoes I wore out were also Florsheim work shoe so I merely replaced and didn't have to start trying them on all over again.

2 generations that love Florsheim shoes.

The shoes came promptly,were and are comfortable. I am on my feet from 6:00 PM till 5:30 AM 5 days a week and 5-8 hours on Saturday.They wear well,are comfortable and in the area of slip resistance, I had 1 incident where I had a Roadrunner/coyote moment and wound up flat on my back making oil angels. Not with these shoes.These are my second pair,I will buy them again.

comfortable all day work shoes

I work in a situation where a composite toe is required and this shoe certainly provides the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned with that requirement. This is my third pair of this shoe and I appreciate everything about them. They look good and wear well, offer good support with safe soles as well. Very comfortable for working a 12 hr shift and being on my feet all that time.

Super Shoe

This is my 3rd pair in the last 5 years. They last a long time and are very comfortable and my job requires me to wear them every day.

Quality shoe

I spend from 10 to 12 hours a day on my feet as a Quality Control technician in a machine shop setting. These shoes fit well, are comfortable and keep me standing upright in an shop with a lot of oil based products on the floor. I have had occasion to make "oil angels" on my back, flat on the floor.These shoes do the job and I'd reccomend them to anyone.

12 hours on your feet is a long day.

The toe isn't the largest, so my small toe is just jamming into the hard toe. Had I had known they ran like that, I'd have ordered a half size smaller

Does fit well

This shoe was extremely tight and uncomfortable.  Seemed to fit like a 8 or 8.5 although a 9 was ordered and the size on the shoe tag showed 9.  It would be good to advise buyers they need to order a half size up from their usual size.
