[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Because this item was so favorably priced, I was already expecting that there would be some sacrifices to quality. Well, I could not have been more wrong. This umbrella base is a very high quality item. It is so sturdy! There is nothing flimsy about it. I live where we get some relatively strong gusts of wind and this one will not yield! It was very easy to assemble and arrived very well protected by more than adequate packing materials. The color black is even and rich. I would recommend this product in a heartbeat.
