if you grew up on the easy bake oven then the new generation will love this.  freeze the pan and add milk. great family bonding item while getting to eat a delicious treat

Ice cream mixes for the kid friendly ice cream maker tastes really good.  just wish it was a little cheaper.

Honestly would not have purchased if I had know the refill kits were always out of stock or priced insanely high by 3rd parties. It makes very little ice cream. Don't waste your money, just do the “At-home” experiments or go straight for an easy bake oven. This was a bust.

Skip it.

My daughter loves it, however it took a while to understand what to do. But she got it in the end. Definitely needs parental guidance the first time, so they know how to work it properly.

It's cute

the assembly of the tray was easy enough but you have to buy certain salt to actually activate the ice to make the milk cold enough to react and form ice cream. so if your not reading the fine lines you miss that Ingredient. also I thought It was a little pricey for just a plastic tray that you freeze water in . and the pacets that has the ice cream mixes are 2 in a pack for 8 dollars.

Fun but pricey

cheaply made for an outrageous price but that's everything these days. way too expensive for the stuff needed to make like 2 cookies. but my kid loves it.

The consistency never formed into ice cream, more pudding. So the image shown on the box is NOT obtainable. Honestly not worth the hassle and money. My daughter got bored after it would NOT turn into ice cream. Minutes and minutes passed of me following the directions trying to get it to work. It never did. It was pudding. Having to buy the kits separately from the get go after receiving the Freezy as a gift was a shock and disappointment. They couldn't put one kit with the Freezy?

Pudding NOT Ice Cream

The mix is just overpriced cornstarch and sugar. When made up according to instructions, the so-called ice cream is disgusting in taste and texture. The kids hated it, making it a waste of money.

Not worth it.

Unfortunately no matter how long I freeze the tray for it does not turn into ice cream after putting the mixture on the tray. It could be a user error but I don't know.
