I'm on my second pair! These are an awesome shoe! I do have to admit, sometimes the leather is different. Two years ago I purchased these when Frye was in NY. This time I purchased recently, since they now operate out of Canada. The leather is awesome on each pair but different. This most recent pair came so soft with leather from a different cut with all the wrinkles and grain ECT. . they look expensive lol. Definitely sad to see them out of stock and maybe gone for good?

Perfectg

The point back of the shoe, behind the ankle rubs against that part of the resulting in blisters. I have been wearing the shoes hoping the shoe would flex but to no avail... all I have to show for three days wear are a raw stop at the back of the ankle. 
I was hoping to use these shoes as my walking shoes for an up coming trip to Italy. Will have to go for airbirds or ecco. Fryes used to be a quality brand, what happened ?Can I have my money back ?

Rubbed Raw

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the mushroom color for a more casual look. The quality seems to be completely in line with the Frye of old. I have noticed a decline in inventory for men and that products are made in China, but like I said, the quality appears very good. I wear an 11 in Nike and a 10 in every pair of Frye's. They run dress-size. Hope that helps

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm replacing a pair of 6-yr-old Low Lace Walkers. The quality of leather lining was better, the eyelets had grommets, the fit and comfort were better. And they were made in the USA, so presumably more expensive to produce. I'll wear these Astors, but they surely don't have the feel of other Frye products that I've owned (still have a pair of boots that are probably 40 years old).

Previous shoes were better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A few years ago I bought the Brett low top sneaker and it fits great. I wanted to get an updated nicer looking version so I tried these out. Unfortunately they are very narrow across the toes and are not close to fitting, even with very thin socks. The style is great and they seem well made but they don't fit my feet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like be Frye shoes and have owned several pairs and have given them as gifts multiple times. 
These will not stop squeaking when I walk. It's so loud that I have stopped wearing them. 
This is the time this has happened, so I would/will but again. I also own the same pair in another color. No issues.

Shoes started peeling after wearing them a handful of times, at the top near the shoe opening. This is not an area that is not usually subject to normal wear and tear. Frye refuses to let us return them. Otherwise, the shoes are stylish, but I've bought way cheaper shoes that have lasted longer.
