Build Quality

I have had these in brown for 8 years and they still look brand new. I love them so I got the black and these are exactly the same quality and I love them too. Comfortable out of the box.

I have had these in

The Frye Company

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these boots and will always have a pair! My first pair of Melissa Button 2 were a staple of my wardrobe and lasted me almost 6 years before I had to even think about replacing them. I despite being 5'2” the tall looks and feels great. I was concerned about the “double lug” looking too thick and rugged but it doesn't at all. I always recommend the Melissa Button 2 and will always have a pair in my closet! They are very true to size, a little tight when you first get them but they'll stretch/mold to your feet!

LIFELONG STAPLE

The perfect tall riding boot! The brown color option I ended up with even has this beautiful sparkle to it I wasn't expecting. Size up! I'm always a 7 but the 7. 5 was pretty sung around my foot and I'm happy with the 8. The shipping was super fast too.

Cute!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have wanted a pair of these boots for 20yrs! My first pair were the Carson. Unfortunately, I have skinny legs, so those did not work for me and had to return. The Melissa's are a PERFECT fit! Love them so much!

Finally!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loved the boots, great fit but the heel is smooth with no rubber texture so a bit slick.

Loved the boots, great fit

A very plain looking boot, the tread is rather hard and slippery. It's a stiff boot, thick leather. The fit is quite narrow even for my slender feet. Considering a return.

plain Jane boot

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are unlike any other frye riding boots I've ever purchased.
The sole is different. They look more like campus boots.
They fit incredibly small and narrow to the point where I had to buy stretchers to make these work. The instep caves in almost by design, nothing addresses it. . .
I have bought and worn frye riding boots exclusively for over 10 years.
This is my first regret and I'm really disappointed in these boots.

Depressed this is final sale

I was SO excited for these boots, but every time I put them on- I take them off. I can't wear them with jeans because the calves are too tight- even though I have slim calves. They are shorter than I thought they would be- and they don't look good. Plus, although I've tried to break them in- they aren't comfortable on my foot. I'm incredibly disappointed, as I was too late getting my delivery to return them in the 30 day window. Ugh. Was really excited and feel so sad about them.

Disappointing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The boot seems to be a good quality, however does not fit. And now you will not let me return them.

The boot seems to be

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Doesn't fit and the company fell back on their policy of final sale instead of trading for one the right size. Needed one half size bigger because of the size of the toe box. We will shop for a boot from a boot company that takes care of their loyal patrons.
