Misplaced my favorite Fryes thanks to a moving company that basically hid them from me. So I went ahead and ordered these, which kind of look like my misplaced pair (which did not have shearling). Shearling feels great! I love wearing them without socks, which I wouldn't do with the old ones. Size was good, and shipping was quick.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love my Veronica shearling bootie. They are so comfortable and warm. This is my second pair in a different color. I ordered the Cognac a half size up so that I can wear them outside with thicker socks. I wear them around the house during winter, because my husband keeps the temperature at 70 degrees.

I haven't worn a Frye boot since my sister bought a pair in high school. I've looked over the years but it just didn't seem to workout for me with the right color or size since I have a small narrow foot. It seemed like I had finally met my match, however, I wasn't sure of the boot height. But “the shearling lining sold me” when I tucked my pants inside and it hugged my ankle in place, whereby my heal moved into the space provided where there isn't any lining, creating the perfect fit for me! 🤸🏻‍♀️ I can wear with or without light weight socks and they're also weatherproof, making this the ideal boot for me:)

My First Veronica Shearling Bootie

So glad to have found these, very warm when the temp dips low. Soft and comfortable with a nice sole that won't slip on freezing surfaces. I have had surgery on both of my ankles and they ache this time of year if I'm not keeping them warm. This boot does just that while looking cool at the same time. My only suggestion, make a Billy Short shearling 
 
 lined boot and I'll really be in heaven!

My winter go to!

I just received these today and put them on for the first time. I specifically wanted the shearling lined boots because I have a plate with six screws over the boniest part of one ankle, and boots frequently irritate this area. I put the boots on and was able to wear them for about an hour right out of the box. From my past experiences with Frye boots, I know that they can take some time to break in and can initially be more difficult to get on and off, but the end result has always been worth the effort. I look forward to wearing these for many years to come.

I bought these a few months ago in the grey color, I love the color and the style of these boots. I love them because they are a skinnier shearling boot that look nice with most outfits and are very warm and comfy. They were a snug fit right out of the box but have broken in since wearing them a few times. I love them!!

Beautiful and Comfy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this style; but fit is difficult. Have always worn size 7 in Frye. I have slim feet and was disappointed at how difficult to get into. Once I did , boots were very comfortable. Don't know how to tell others when asking about size. The reviews did not address.

Love the boot / not the sizing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely beautiful bootie but the shaft isn't wide enough to slip my foot in :( 
I own 2 pair of their mid calf boots and don't have this problem. I did read the reviews that suggested that they ran a little small and to order a size up which I did and still no luck… if you have narrow feet they might fit….needless to say I'll be returning these beautiful booties.

Veronica Booties

These are really nice boots and look to be of high quality, but these were too small in my regular size (7) and definitely too narrow. I do have a wide foot but usually a B is fine for me in boots. These were also kind of hard to get on and off. Sent them back, as a larger size would have still been too narrow.

I had the worst time trying to get these boots on. The upper part/shaft of the boot is narrow and difficult to pass my foot through. Had to stretch them. Once they were on they fit great. Really pretty and will be warm for winter. Despite the narrow situation they are made well.

Beautiful and Difficult

I'm a big fan of shearling lined Frye boots & have just about worn my old cognac pair that had a zipper up the back out. I have this pull on version in gray & rarely wear then. I have a bad ankle from a crush injury 18 years ago & Frye was the first quality boot company to make shearling lined leather boots I loved & could wear. The pull on is problematic for me due to random swelling & occasionally needed to wear my lightweight ankle brace in them. These are also not as comfortable as the older version. I miss the variety of shearling lined boot options & last winter I bought the over the knee tall Veronica shearling lined since my old ones were wearing out. Also not the same soft leather quality; they're super stiff & the sole is also stiff hard plastic like rather than soft rubber true tire-like lug sole with very little flexibility or traction & a hard footbed, whereas the original version was flexible leather boot, great cushioned foot bed & true lug soles with excellent traction. Had I known they reduced the quality I would not have bought 2 pair. The old versions of this boot & the tall boot used to sell out so fast. I kept them hoping they'd wear in better but they haven't & are problematic walking on ice & slick surfaces, so they sit in my closet taunting me. Also miss the buckle detail around the ankle on the new version of the over the knee high ones.
