This sauce is amazing! None of the vinegary and acidic flavours found in Frank's or Louisiana hot sauces. This sauce is actually flavourful and tasty, not just pure heat. Best sauce to go with eggs, be it omelettes, scrambled or even poached. Can't have eggs without the sauce anymore. Family can't seem to get enough of it; put it on everything. Tip: Make a Cholula mayo!

My Favourite Hot Sauce

I agree with others that it has no harsh vinegar, and great smokey chipotle flavour.  Enjoyed for years on lots of foods, and especially in drinks like non-alcohol beer.  Not overly hot either, so you still taste the food.

No nasty vinegar taste. Hint of smokey flavor, mixes well with BBQ sauce.

Best hot sauce

I finally found a store that sold this as my local wal-marts do not sell this. I wasn't impressed, the flavor was very transparent. It was like Mexican tobasco sauce as it had this wood like after taste if you try it right out of the bottle but on tacos and that sort of thing its almost unnoticeable in terms of adding flavor like a good hot sauce will. unless you want a weak hot sauce (2000-3000 scovilles, a raw jalapeno is about 8000) to add a little kick to your next mexican fiesta that even your kids may be able to eat this is it. But if you want actual flavor Tapito, valentina or something else I'd rather go with even the watery old el paso hot sauce. I really wanted to like this sauce and tried to find it locally but when i did i wasn't impressed and won't buy it again.

meh..

it has this disgusting chlorine and wood like after taste, adding it to tacos or anything else south of the border inspired it's extremely transparent unless you pour a ridiculous amount of sauce on something. I'll take Valentina or Tapatio any day of the week. I'll take taco bell hot or fire sauce over this.
