Have had this watch for a few years now. Gets lots of use when on the golf course. Very reliable and accurate. Will probably be upgrading to the newer model soon.

Great golf watch

Great fast distance information of front, center & back of greens! Keeps track of distance, strokes and performance. Score card is easy & intuitive. Bunker distance is helpful in avoiding trouble. Expecting handicap to go down as more time using - as only have had 4 weeks.

Love easy distance readings

Bought this to replace my Fitbit that just recently died. Wanted a watch that tracks heart rate, sleep data and oxygen sensor (pulse Ox).  I wish Garmin would provide an overall sleep score to summarize all the sleep data.  If you want a golf watch and fitness tracker, the S62 is THE best gadget on the market. I've only played one round with it.  After 4 more rounds the virtual caddie feature will start recommending clubs by distance, etc. Pretty cool to see the shot distances on the S62 although I'm not hitting the ball as far as previously thought.  This is my first Garmin device and I couldn't be happier. Garmin customer support is excellent as well

Great golf watch / fitness tracker

Utilizion

When I bought my s62 I got no sensors. It had trouble picking up short shots around the greens . I bought the starter pack of three sensors (putter and wedges) and much better experience now. Loving it !

Great with the sensors

My wife got me this watch. This has help with scores, distance gps, keeps track of the clubs i am using and Cadiy option is amazing. I highly recommended. I makes my game more fun.

Distance

I like the fit and looks of my new watch. I think it has plenty of functions and useful data that helps with training and fitness. When I first got the watch I was able to get a hiking activity and now I can't find it anywhere. I would like to know how to add the hiking as an option in the list of activities. It has been okay for golf but still trying to figure out how it keep track of strokes without having to go in and change on every hole

Activity functions

I bought it about 2 to 3 weeks ago I only got use it once golf mode had some problems it.
It locked up it only ask me which club I was using would not show me any distances. I finished the golf round with out it. I have been using it a watch and heart rate monitor. Disappointed in the battery life recharged it to 100% it's the 5 day it's down to 36% battery life left.
This is my fifth Garmin device I love my S60 but the battery would not last 18 holes

Great Golf features

I bought this watch a few months before gold season to get familiar with it. I love the near two weeks of battery life for most weeks. I was being misled initially on the golf course for remaining distance because it was showing meters and not yards. I find that it reports steps much more conservatively compared to FitBit, that I have used for 8 years, but I can just deal with adding 30 to 40% more steps than  it shows. It seems to get fooled by steps on gym equipment. See 9,347 steps in picture, compared with 14,053 on my FitBit. I do wish it showed remaining battery life in the phone app because the numbers are small on the watch face and require me to put on reading glasses to make them out and often when I check, the minute hand is obscuring the battery life numbers. But those are minor issues and the watch generally has been very good. If there is one thing I would like improved most of all, it is recognizing when I have left the green on a hole so it would automatically switch to the next hole or realize my round has finished because I am no longer at the golf course. I have found the watch still showing the last hole hours after I am home from golfing because I was distracted and forgot to end the round on the watch.

Good Golf Watch that could be great

I received my Aproach S62 on my birthday two weeks ago, I'm so happy with my golf caddy.  The watch band is loosing the color, how can I changed? Warranty?

Great for golfers

After 3 years this watch refused to charge. I left it for 6 months and it worked again. 6 months along and it refuses to charge again. I have tried 3 different cables, all of which work for an S60 (which charges butwill only update via my phone) and a vivactive 5. I have cleaned the contacts with alcohol and a light abrasive. Still will not charge via charger of PC
