Love this watch! Previously had the Garmin Lily (1st edition). This Forerunner 265s is a major upgrade. Love the extra training features and insights.  It also has a really nice color display with customizable touch screen. Appears to have an accurate step count and the battery life lasts approximately 14 days even with frequent cardio tracking.  Solid purchase! <3

Great Feature

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have not used the product yet, so I don't want to give it bad marks.

I've had for about 2 weeks now and couldn't be happier. My first Garmin after switching from a Fitbit. I have found it to be a great entry into Garmin and I love all the stats! Definitely helping me improve my fitness! I didn't love the yellow accent so I switched out the bands, easy. Morning report is game changer!

Perfect, best of all worlds

The package came with very little “how to” and coming from apple was a big change. I have been learning slowly how to use it better for my needs. But the battery lasts a many days! I don't always ware it in the shower so I do charge it some at that time. Charged up VERY QUICKLY. I have used it for yoga, meditation, running in and out doors, sleep tracking. And I love it. I can't read text messages with it and I believe it's because I have an iPhone. But I didn't want it to keep up with texts I wanted to see what I needed to work on to be stronger and healthier. Still have a lot to learn. And I will test out the swim in the Summer. Band is comfortable easy to clean. I work nights and I like that I can set my sleep hrs accordingly to that. The touch screen is very pleasing and you can customize it as well. The safety to let people know you are safe is nice as all. And it has a live track, although I have not used that. I had to learn the hard way the two settings for treadmill cause it will not track your miles if you just hit run. Just a learning curve nothing I would say is a negative for me. Used for about a month now

Wonderful watch!

I upgraded from the Venu 2s to the Garmin Forerunner 265s & I love the features and data, especially for running! I would highly recommend for any runner, it's very helpful to see my data in regards to pace and recovery.

Amazing watch!!

I bought this two weeks ago and has exceeded all my expectations! The watch is beyond cute and the size is perfect for small wrists. It's a game changer for runners

The best Watch!

So the watch is just fine. However for the hefty price tag it doesn't make sense what it is offering at all. Touch screen is nice and smooth. But the watch doesn't have an easy way to turn off alerts every mile. Even with the alert off, it was still alerting me every mile. So I had to set the alert to “alert every 27 miles” (programming logic of giving an algorithm a high number that you know you will never reach so the algorithm will not bug you). The watch belt makes the watch look super cheap which is a bummer for the price I paid for. Other issues I had was strength training setting. Currently the way it is designed it just doesn't make sense. You have to manually do a lot of things on the watch for lifting while lifting. It feels like the watch is interrupting me a lot during workout, either manually setting the watch every set (where the rep counts are wrong or rep counts are not recorded when you switch sides) or showing me random stats (performance points) while I am running. I have the watch on, and all I care about are pace, hr, mileage and I can easily look them up when I need it. No need to yell them back at it.
I am definitely considering returning this watch for something that is much more simpler in design and does exactly what I ask it do. That is “Quietly record my run”.
