Love this watch! Previously had the Garmin Lily (1st edition). This Forerunner 265s is a major upgrade. Love the extra training features and insights.  It also has a really nice color display with customizable touch screen. Appears to have an accurate step count and the battery life lasts approximately 14 days even with frequent cardio tracking.  Solid purchase! <3

The package came with very little “how to” and coming from apple was a big change. I have been learning slowly how to use it better for my needs. But the battery lasts a many days! I don't always ware it in the shower so I do charge it some at that time. Charged up VERY QUICKLY. I have used it for yoga, meditation, running in and out doors, sleep tracking. And I love it. I can't read text messages with it and I believe it's because I have an iPhone. But I didn't want it to keep up with texts I wanted to see what I needed to work on to be stronger and healthier. Still have a lot to learn. And I will test out the swim in the Summer. Band is comfortable easy to clean. I work nights and I like that I can set my sleep hrs accordingly to that. The touch screen is very pleasing and you can customize it as well. The safety to let people know you are safe is nice as all. And it has a live track, although I have not used that. I had to learn the hard way the two settings for treadmill cause it will not track your miles if you just hit run. Just a learning curve nothing I would say is a negative for me. Used for about a month now

This is my third Foreunner watch. I bought this to replace my Forerunner 245 when the battery life was waning. I love how lightweight this one is- I was initially a little worried it would be too small but with the screen as clear as it is, the size is perfect! I'm training for the SeaWheeze half and NYC marathon so I'm glad I have a watch that can withstand the training cycles! There are so many features I'm not even using yet, so I know this one is a perfect watch for me to grow into.

Though I am still learning how to use the forerunner, I am very happy with my purchase. The watch has so many features that provide really interesting analytics. I also like how the watch is intuitive and how the goals and analyses adjust based on your wellness and performance. The battery life is also amazing.

Love it

Love this watch! I upgraded from a Fitbit and can't get over how in depth and insightful the metrics are. I am primarily into weightlifting but started running this year. It's been a great way to keep track of both. I use the Ladder app and my data syncs perfectly. I love the GPS feature, as well as the color coating on the map to show when my runs were slower/faster, the breakdown of aerobic versus anaerobic and the breakdown of what muscles were used in a weightlifting session. Highly recommend.

Perfect for runners and weightlifters

I bought this watch for my first XC season in June 2025, and it has not once let me down. It went through one XC season, an indoor season, an outdoor season, and it's about to go through it's second XC season. It has tons of great features, lots of workout options, and overall a good watch for its price.

One month in and it's clear that I'm never going back to an Apple Watch again. Never thinking about the battery life, much more in-depth health and training metrics, lighter, better looking. This watch does everything I need and more!

Never Going Back to Apple

I love how easy it is to start tracking the run and how it downloads to Strava Automatically. The battery life is amazing last a whole week without needing any charging. What I don't like is how it randomly reports incidents and I can't figure out what sets it off. It's also very difficult to get it back to normal after it goes on battery saver normal like seeing texts and notifications connecting it back to Bluetooth. Those are my only 2 complaints.

I find myself accidentally pressing the buttons. I did not realize I was “running” as the run button was accidentally pressed. I also thought it was not very user friendly as I'm working to figure out how to set it up all the way. The watch is nice and I'm sure there are a lot of cool features but I have had some issues with jt. It also tells me I am fully recovered when I did not wear at night. How does it determine that if I am not wearing it? So are the results misleading? I suggest you really research the product yourself before purchasing.
