I find this watch is very user friendly. I like how it tracks to my "Weight Watchers" App. I don't have to manually enter the activity on my app. It transfers once I refresh.

Very Nice Smartwatch

I was a Fitbit enthusiast from the beginning of the product line. They went downhill after being purchased by Google. Tried an Apple Watch - I gave it away, the worst. After being down with an injury I decided to get a new device to help me track steps, etc. The Vivosmart exceeded my expectations. The watch is durable, holds a charge for a good long time and the Garnin Connect App is awesome. Easy integration with My Fitness Pal to log food intake. I use it daily and would purchase again.

I had the Hume and Whhop but like my Vivo better.  It's light, connects easily to other apps and my iPhone (this was a concern but works flawlessly), the band doesn't twist when you sleep like some others, is waterproof, no subscription fees, and just a nice product.  If you have an active lifestyle, this is a fantastic product.

Great Features, Surprisingly Low Cost!

I bought the Garmin Vivo smart 5 and loved it. It's awesome it has everything I wanted it to have, before I bought this I was a little skeptical about buying a new watch. I wanted to upgrade my old one but watches are expensive so when I found this I got super excited this is just what I wanted and in my price range. I definitely recommend buying this. It's amazing I love it!

LOVE IT!

I purchased this to replace my previous Garmin Vivosmart that lasted a few years,  the one that ran on a lithium battery.  I average 2 days battery life on the new one, needless to say I miss my old one! Took me a minute to figure out how to charge the device, us middle-aged ppl may appreciate instructions saying "Charger connects to your phone." Device is simple and easy to use, you can follow more in-depth on ur Garmin app if you want.

Keeping it simple

It started off working really well. The battery was lasting about four days. Then it seems like each time I charge it the battery lasts less,  sometimes only a day and a half without changing settings. It frequently does not record some statistics like sleep even if I have it on %26 adjusted properly to my wrist and the battery is charged. It's somewhat annoying to find some of the features on the watch itself. I wanted to really love this, but if it was less than 30 days from my purchase, I probably would return it. We still use it after paying that much money, but I would not recommend it.
My daughter has a different type of  Garmin and zero problems.

Not worth what it cost

starts applications w/out me even selecting, this Vivosmart 5 doesnt last more than 1 day before having to put on charger - for tracking necessary steps %26 heart for medical reason it ridiculous to even have it will not last on for more than 1 day. I even disabled the connection to the phone so it would not use up so much battery power %26 it still goes out.the Garmin3 I could use for 2 years before having to replace a battery.

Vivosmart5 poor for a fitness watch

I was told by AI that this device had a daily cardio load target like the old Fitbit app that I have used for 12 years, but that switched over to Google app.  This device does not have a daily target.

battery life is terrible dead in a day looked in trouble shooting turned off a few things battery lasted a day and a half  would not recommend this item

disapointed

I brought my new watch yesterday and have had nothing but trouble!!! I haven't even been able to get it to turn on properly. I have spent hours troubleshooting with no fix in sight.
Watch does connect to Garmin Express but will not connect to phone as will no stay powered without being directly connected to a power source and will not show and display other than the charging icon or Hello.
After multiple resets following the troubleshooting instructions zero improvement.
I will be returning it to the retailer today hoping for a refund.
